When Americans vote for candidates that pledge to lower taxes they are withholding their consent for those taxes. The government has to suck it up and comply or declare itself in opposition to their employers and suffer the consequences, which is primarily why Republicans have control of most of the government activity in the country.

Most of those billionaires opposed Trump and we all know he isn't enriching himself as he works for only a dollar a year.
