Actually, first time I have ever fatshamed was today and that was contextually, here, not my proudest moment to be sure. There is a reason for the high rate of obesity and type 2 diabetes in the US, the availability, convenience and cost are contributing factors. Corporate greed and their lobbyists are another. I could go on and on about it but suffice it to say I pity a society where the wealthy over indulge and the poor are so exhausted it's easier and cheaper to buy a jumbo box of sugar cereal to feed your kids breakfast for a week than it is to prepare nutritious meals from scratch. And don't think just because you eat junk food and are thin to average that you're healthier than a fat person. People store fat differently. Some store it around their bodies just under the skin, others store it around their organs. :)
