If Venezuela hasn't stocked up yet with thousands of drones and missiles, then it's not a military threat. If it has enough drones, and big US ships are sent into drone range, then sinking them is escalation to a real war.

No, the situation all of you here, most likely don't know is that Iran has mid range ballistic missiles positioned in Venezuela pointing north, very capable of striking the lower 48 states....... this is the very same situation the Russians were in at the beginning of the Biden reign of terror....Zelensky was "bought off" to allow American missiles along the Ukraine- Russian border with a 5 minute flight time to Moscow.... hence the graveyard that is Ukraine...........
Also the Russians/Iranians have a drone manufacturing facility in Venezuela that supplies the Russians with drones and drone parts........ one more item, the Chinese are very influential in South America especially Venezuela, it is the Chinese and the Hindus that manufactur and supply the fentanyl and the methamphetamine that are poisoning our nation...yes I know we would not have a "drug problem" if people weren't buying the poison......
