Where do you stand? Should US companies be not only allowed, but encouraged, to partner with China and their unfair trade practices or not? That's been the policy up to now.

As far as furryfoot and his inane bullshit, answer a simple question. If Trump were a bought and paid for politician by the major corporations would he be doing what he's doing?

I have no problem since I only asked a question.

People have also brought up China's huge interest in our national debt.

Now...does the trade and tariff imbalance hurt the bottom lines of US based multinationals?

There is also the unfair labor force differential. Not to mention zero environmental and worker protections in China.

So...Trump raises our tax on Chinese manufactured goods, and they raise their tariffs in retaliation on (mostly) our raw materials. Ad infinitum.

China is also accused of currency manipulation, and considering they hold more greenbacks than any other Nation on Earth, that could become problematic. They have already been drastically cutting their USD forex reserves.

But...it's all so simple and easy!

Of America's $23 trillion debt, Communist China currently holds $1.11 trillion and Japan holds $1.10 trillion out of a total $4.1 trillion in Tbills, notes and bonds held by foreign countries.

Americans and their government hold the overwhelming majority of the balance of their own national debt: $19 trillion.
