At the NATO summit, Donnie pretended that the US spends a huge amount on the military because NATO doesn’t spend enough.

“I’m very upset with Nato, that we pay far, far too much,” he said. “Billions and billions of dollars, too much, because it’s unfair, because we’re protecting them, so we protect them, but they’re not there for us.”

Meanwhile in the real world, Trump increased military spending to $1 trillion a year, and wants Congress to increase it to $1.5 trillion per year. Neither increase has anything to do with NATO.

"We'll" probably make a profit on that selling arms to Ukraine and NATO countries and the Middle East. Venezuela and Iran were just commercials for US military tech. :)

Members are spending more. Poland is putting everyone to shame (including the US)

dear leader wants NATO to dissolve so he can form another alliance with dictators that are his best friends.

Congress, thankfully, won't let him

Being in an alliance with Luxembourg is much more beneficial than friendly relations with countries that can blow us up a thousand times. :)

Oh, and Poland gets it. :):)

The money that NATO countries spends doesn't go into a central pot. Countries are expected to join in with a defense of any NATO country that has been attacked and the only tie that has happened was to assist the US.

The US has refused to support other NATO countries that have been attacked, and Russia has shown that it's incapable of invading even a neighbor such as Ukraine (also, Finland). So it's no surprise that after 75 years of peace many countries see high expenditure on military as an extravagance. Cutting spending is known as the 'Peace Dividend'.

The US President, being a dumbass, thinks that NATO countries should join in with his invasions of random other nations including other NATO countries.

Being in an alliance that shows up when needed is definitely better than one where dictators try to one up each other in a pissing match in how much they can fuck the country's people.

The question is, if Poland is attacked, will we respond as they have for us?

Who showed up for us in the Straight of Hormuz? Not fucking Luxembourg. Poland gets it. Russia and Russian conglomerates have occupied Poland 5 times. The rest of Europe needs to get off its ass and join the living. Pick a side. Lol. :)

We weren't attacked in the strait of hormuz.

Yes, you don't understand how NATO works.
If Britain starts a war with North Korea without consulting us and then demands we clean up their mess, we wouln t show up for them either.

Poland entered NATO in 1999.

We fucked up with N. Korea. Trump is trying to prevent Iran from becoming N. Korea West. N. Korea is attack proof. Imagine Iran attack proof.

NATO has become a one way street. Britain got face slapped by staying out of it and is trying to recover, but it's already, probably, too late.

The US is attack proof. Most of Europe is not. (Besides France and GBR.) ((And they hate each other)). :)

Ok

The US didn't plan the Iran war with NATO, therefore NATO isn't involved in the war.

Lol
Don't tell Glam or the other magas

Yes, it's protecting their domestic air travel.

Good call.
I think it's the Russians that shoot down domestic aircraft. If "they" don't want their oil shut off by a terrorist regime, let then figure it out. We'll sell them some petrol. :)

Perhaps next time we want NATO to be involved, we'll involve them in planning .
