Both Johnson and Nixon were foul mouthed in private, but both knew it wasn't acceptable to be this way in public. Trump has no such filters.

Speaking of the emails, I think Clinton missed an opportunity in the debate--probably because Trump blindsided her on offering to open his tax returns in exchange for her 30,000 unprovided emails. I think she should have fired back that they should keep the exchange to apples/apples and that he release his tax returns to match her already having done so, and she'd dredge up the 30,000 emails when he produced for public scrutiny his last 30,000 emails. (Those would be fun to view and, while we're at it, it would be fun if the Russians were fair and provided the RNC's email file for us all to look at as they've already done with DNC email files).
I'm also waiting for someone publicly to call in Trump's pledge of $5 million to charity if/when he accepts Obama's birth certificate, which he now has done. Maybe Hillary's saving that in case he shows up to the second debate.

POTUS gets to nominate the SCOTUS candidates that will effect the history for the next twenty to fifty years else I wouldn't give care much one way or the other.
But he does it in front of open mics on national television while running for president. He just doesn't care, not even the way a teenage boy would care if his mother were in the room.
And Clinton would appoint experienced federal judges, moderate enough to have a chance of being confirmed by a Pub-majority Senate or surviving a Pub filibuster in a Dem one. Trump more likely would appoint the sort who are to lawyers as Harold Bornstein is to doctors.
