Man, you wouldn't fucking believe today.Got the first two units passed, got the little old ladies moving back in, and the movers are bringing in the rest of the stuff for the second one. About 4, they're bringing in her mattress and break out the sprinkler head near the elevator. Right in the center of the building and system. And we had trouble getting it turned off. Water is running down the elevator. It's a bigger line than the last one. The fire department showed up in force and brought the cavalry. We got condemned, evacuated completely, and the power cut off. At least there's no fire watch to be stood.


I feel kinda like I'm back to Square Zero.

I'm sure that they do. I don't think that corporate would have hired them otherwise. So, there's that bit, and there's the bit that we aren't hiring a super for the other job on the coast, so now I'll have some time to babysit that one, too, perhaps. I don't know, as I don't make those kinds of decisions.


Happy Tuesday!!! I reckon that I'll go in and see what's what, because it's Waterproof Hiking Boots day. So I reckon it's going to be about assessment, lining up some people to let me know what to do and others to start drying that soggy sponge out.


The whole thing is kind of discouraging. However, this (gall stone), too, shall pass . . . .

It's about time to start prepping for Turkey Day. My how time flies! It's cold and rainy here today, and though the weather people deny it, I swear it feels like it might snow. Snow is not anything Thor or Johnny would be surprised to hear about, but I'm a little pouty about the thought so I will have to look up my big girl panties and fix my attitude.

There is a plot among the displaced tenants to file suit against the owners/my company for loss of their stuff, pain and suff'rin', and probably for hurt feelings. I suspect that any attorney no matter how lame and from whatever free legal services agency will ask them, do you have renter's inshornce?
