UK Lit's

If I may be so bold UKNG, I know I'm an old guy but, experience really does help sometimes so, to give you the benefit of my experience I'll say this, I have found that the Lit community is not so different from real life really, get to know people, you will have some that like you and some that don't, some you like and some you don't too but, after a while you will get to know which ones are on your wave length and then you may get a little closer.

I am an old guy but, I have met 3 women from Lit all in their 30's (very young compared to my 60's!) and we have had some great times together. I am currently seeing one lady and she and I have a really good time without any commitments other than to have a good time whilst it lasts!!

Good luck in your quest but, don't rush it and, don't try to horn in on somebody else's gal (she might be mine!!!! LOL)

Hey Big Salami, thanks for your thoughts and advice. I don't intend to rush in head-first, and understand that this isn't a game and people (and their feelings) are involved here. I'm going to take your advice and remember it; hopefully I'll get lucky too. It's inspiring to know that someone in their 60's can find fun on here too, well done mate

LOL glad to see you in such a good mood choc, here's a tip for ya, if you bring the threads you visit up on your user cp facility and then left click on "replies" you get a pop up window which lists all the people that have posted on each thread and the amount of times they have done so!! I'm off now to see if you have posted on the UK's online directory !! LMAO

UKNG, go to the Am Pic thread and start up your own thread with your own pics, put a link to it at the bottom of your posts (A la "Me and a married woman") that people can just click on to go there and wait for the gals to start chasing ya!! That doesn't work for me being a dirty old man but, I have other ways of attracting my "victims!" LMFFAO

I know this might sound odd coming from me (and I think that it's probably partly my fault that the UK readers thread appears cliquey--I tend to do in-jokey things, like with me and obsessions and stuff) but I was totally, totally out of it when I first joined. There were tons of people posting, and I didn't know a single person, and it was quite daunting, but it's really quite easy to join in. Just ask a few questions, join in one of the discussions. That's all you got to do! Please don't feel unwelcomed. I'm feeling a little at fault here.

Hello Marsi, good to see you posting elsewhere, I have seen some of your posts but, never spoken to you because there are people who post on the other UK threads that seem to have "Issues" with me so, rather than cause more bad feeling, I stay away. I am, together with some others, trying to revive the ailing "th UK's online directory" one of if not the oldest UK thread on Lit, it has been ignored for too long and should be saved so, why not pop in from time to time, everybody's welcome there, we'd love to hear from you! ALL of you!

BTW Choc, you definitely have neglected us, not posted on the online directory ever, I hope you're gonna put that right soon hun?

Ahh, Iron Maiden on vinyl, the way it should be Just been playing Seventh Son of a Seventh Son on my new turntable (a Pro-Ject I Expression), sounds awesome

My collection (mostly progressive & metal) is somewhere around 500 albums, of which probably 80% are on vinyl, it would cost a small fortune to replace them with CDs (even if I wanted to), & some of them are so rare they're never likely to see the light of day on CD anyway.
