What the Hell is Crumble?

LOL OK... I thought you'd have this in the US!

It's a pudding made with cooked fruit (apples, plums, rhubarb or whatever) at the bottom, topped with the crumble - made from flour, butter and sugar which you mix with your fingertips till it's all crumbly. Put it on top of the cooked fruit, bake in the oven and there you have crumble!

Best served with home-made custard

Now I think about it, I'm sure you can make the crumbly bit with oats in there somewhere too, but it's not something I make very often

Yeah, I've seen him eat the cream straight from the can when he thinks I'm not looking...

Kitz - get some head & shoulders, it strips the colour out of dyed hair. Wish someone had told me this, then my dye might have lasted a bit longer

Yeah, oats... I'm convinced you can use oats in some kind of crumble topping!! I'm sure my mum used to do that...
