parents grocery shopping shortly
rebuild a friends laptop
sort stuff near shed and hope to clean up bikes to be able to use

and you?

same old shit. coffee and writing a little on a book idea. walk later. not much to do in the garden now. maybe paint a fence panel or two - again!

have people jacked on the social distancing thing down your way? seems to me like quite a few think it's all over and business as usual as i've been out and about. i reckon there are gonna be tons of bikes for sale soon. lot of salad dodgers wobbling around on two wheels of late. the novelty is bound to wear off soon. might snag a bargain! :D

Good morning all,

Another glorious day in blighty lockdown, well for those of us still following the rules that is :D

it's good to watch paint dry ;)

well a lot of folks headed to our beaches over the weekend, and a fight too on one of them so watch out for a second wave soon.. i did a lot of walking the last 2 days at the 2 hospitals i was working in (and avoiding people). you sure could, especially those that got a racing saddle and then realised their inbuilt padding wasn't enough

there's something therapeutic and satisfying about seeing the fence all uniform and moss free, etc. mind you, that's prolly the San Miguel! :D

saw a clip of that fight. feckin' eejits.

Morning all

I think it will be interesting to see how people 'adapt' and if they will to 'living with' social distancing for the near future...

Cant see it happening myself... but maybe enough to stop the Virus spreading 'hugely' or it may not... only time and the never ending newsr reports will tell.

morning! :D

i'm one of those grumpy bastards who social distanced before it became a thing. ;)

Yep... you know you are a grumpy bugger when lockdown makes no difference to how many people drop by or how often you socialise...

Me too, barely notice it, but the lanes are filling back up with impatient eejits in Vans and cars...

To be honest I think it will be very easy for most people to slip into their old ways. I don't see social distancing here to stay with or without a vaccine if what I have witnessed of late is anything to go by.

Which will be the determining 'moment' .... does it lead to a SECOND wave (of high numbers) .. ie back to square one or beyond... or do we 'decide' that we can live with it.. (or not as the case may be!)

Not to be too grim but a second wave is bound to happen. The local idiots didn't even comply with the first lockdown. I had my money on the zombie apocalypse happening but Covid has made the brain dead walk amongst us anyway.

When some folk in this country thought it would be “fun” to name a vessel ‘Boaty McBoatface’, I struggle with Government thinking everyone could take a “common sense approach” to social distancing and Coronavirus.
