UK Online Directory. v9.

Thank you! My problem is that when I click on the link I see the chart for 2 seconds before I start getting messages about antivirus and verification etc, so could only grab a screenshot. Didn’t realise it was such an interactive resource!!

Oh, I tend to forget that I am behind a massive wall of efficient adblocker + VPN.
I have made sure that I do not have to deal with any nuisances like that. ;)

I signed up for VPN after the recent changes over here. Mainly, of course, to look at otherwise unavailable... erm... dataviz stuff... yes... charts, that's it. Just... charts... 😉

I use them all the time, but then I did that before all the UK nonsense

What about Ireland? You can’t have more rain than Ireland
(& in case anyone gets offended, I was born there)

Oh the lush and green Ireland easily wins that competition!! 🤣🤣🤣

Sorry, but the annual record for Britain and Ireland was set in 1954 when Seathwaite in Cumberland recorded 21' 5". That's an average of 0·7" per day and they had a very dry May that year. 😲

Reputationally wet Manchester has measurable rainfall on over three hundred days a year, that's almost six days a week.

Storm Claudia? Absolutely... cloudier, windier and rainier. It's grim out there! Stay warm, gang! 🫂
This was on reddit earlier today in r/Sheffield.

Weather
Guys seeing the weather is it safe to travel on M1 today ?

The first reply had me laughing.

If we get more than 60mm of rain then typically they start placing machine gun nests around junction 28. Classic Derby move.

Now these babies heat up pretty quickly so you might be able to get through between the short, controlled bursts. But otherwise I'd say it's pretty dangerous.

Evening light night people :) .

It rained, just a bit :D . Consequently, I feel that it's time for a bit of this:
