Oh, no, we need a couple of days below zero before we start worrying about our noggins.I’d have to search for a scarf. Are we in woolly hat territory yet?

Big coats are for wearing nothing underneath.Coat, maybe if it is a light one? (Or you are only wearing one layer underneath) surely not the big coat yet..

That's entirely fair, people have different sensitivities towards the cold.I dont care. I'll wear my big coat when I feel like it. You lot can play all oh I'm not cold. But I will be toasty.

I hope we do actually get some proper cold weather this year, I've a load of proper winter gear ready to go, plus I've a couple of good Pea Coats for wearing to work.
there's the winter jacket and then there's the arctic coat
Aprés ski jacketAnd then there are the different skiing jackets..I mean.. It is not as if I have a couple or more, depending on the activity levels..

Aprés ski jacket
How fluffy? You mean my big, fluffy and comfortable jumper? That would not exactly qualify as a jacket.
I refuse to understand that sentence differently.![]()
i don't ski... but i do have a "standing and watching winter sports" parka
layers!
then there are the Buffs... normal, fleece, double fleece, windproof...
the parka is good as, if you are seated, you can tuck it under your bum and, if the weather is not too cold, unzip it and wrap it over you. it also keep certain parts of you covered from arctic winds (doesn't matter what direction, it's from the arctic).
