To be fair it does get a bit breezy down there as there's nothing for 3,000 miles to stop the wind until you hit Canada.

I refer to most weather men and women as "weather terrorists". There's definitely some sensationalism in their forecasts more often than not.

Edit to add: calling them that is tongue-in-cheek. They absolutely serve a purpose. I'm accustomed to very accurate forecasts, at work.

Pretty much. If you want to properly surf it's where you go. With a full body wetsuit even in the middle of summer.
