When I was a kid, these games were always afternoon games. Maybe one in Saturday and one in Sunday.

Not so anymore obviously.

I thought I read something about NFL being Sunday/Monday only to ensure full coverage of College games on Saturdays? It’s all new to me though!

That happens during the college season.

Once that season starts winding down, the NFL starts playing on Saturdays

Thanks. As you said, why not play Championship games on separate days then. Denver defence starting on top here.

This should be an interesting game. I had forgotten that Denver lost Nix last week. They're playing with their backup quarterback.

Sean Payton is a pretty good coach though, so that will offset their use of the second string guy.
