I remember the lunchbox we got the week I went to shool in Copenhagen. Three small sandwichs ( well smaller than a smørrebrød) and the school provided us with milk.
In Sweden we have ”free” lunch in school so having a lunch box was totally new to me.

The kids coooould get signed up for the canteen, actually they used to be - but... When the lowest denominator is what decides the menu, then some kids will be left not liking the food day after day.

And I agreed with the young humans, the dishes were beyond boring and dry.

So lunchboxes it is!

it's usually three hours of tedium. and why do some people insit on bringing their whole immediate family group for support? i mean, i get it, but there's no need to bring grandma and feral fucking kids is there? :rolf:

Yep and most hospital waiting areas are fairly tight for space to begin with. I had many a visit to Moorfields previously if it’s the same venue? Fingers crossed all goes well

Yeah.. That absurd idea of: hey let us bring the whole loud and obnoxious family to the hospital, where other people might need some space and quiet time..

The reason why I am know as the "so, I am free to go now? Right.. right??!" Patient.
(I usually sit with my earphones in, hair pulled back (or if I am truly frustrated: my huge over ears headphones) my drawing pad, and very obviously not inviting to noise, conversations, contact.. yes, I am that type, and I will roll my eyes in a deafening way.)
