You're welcome.

I wasnt trying to make a political statement, not that there is anything wrong with it being on here.
Just think the guy himself is a total wanker.

But nevermind. Yet again, im made to feel as welcome as someone who has walked shit in onto your carpet. Nice thread ruined.
A really excellent way to "ruin" a thread is to repurpose somebody else's picture to make a shit "joke".

Now, who exactly did that, I wonder? 🤷‍♂️

I don't think it's that deep tbh, you posted a picture, with a statement about a political figure, when there is a politics thread, and you used someone else image to do it, everyone has been polite.

of course you are welcome,

I think that's Lit done for me today. Jesus H Christ 🤬

Today's words are entitlement, consent, and humility.

You got it.
oh god, I have to do so many of those throughout the year, on different subjects, HR are a constantly chasing me for them and, I understand entirely why the subjects are important, but please, can ONE company that does these, mix up the format, make them actually interesting

I work in medical diagnostics so have to do sharps training and handling liquid nitrogen but apart from theit's it's pretty hard to stay away.

Apologies, as I know everyone is trying to move past this... but I was busy on the school run.

Being honest, I did take the post as a political statement as well. Unless you know the man personally can only think you would know of him from the political arena.

I think all us UKers know that politics is a divisive subject.
We will have our different views.
Personally, I like the fact that there is an unwritten rule that those discussions are generally kept off this thread.

Not something I would do without permission but I know that the picture of my garden could be doctored once I had posted it.
So I do appreciate you removed your post @snexxer

Again, sorry for bringing this up at this point. But you all know what a gobby cow I can be so wanted my say!

Also want to say that while I understand my photo was not of me personally, it was one of my home.
As someone who sometimes posts pictures in one of the AmPic threads, I can assure you that along with feelings of vulnerability there is a massive sense of trust that the photos will only be viewed and not uploaded/edited.

It makes me very uneasy to hear that other people may consider they are in the public domain and can be used for anything other than their intended purpose.
And I know I won't be the only one.
