I shall be doing that before long....most of my neighbours seem to have this overwhelming need to put up more lights than blackpool... and as for inflatable snowmen and santa's....what I wouldn't give for an air rifle

You need to be mindful of your firepower -- even if you miss the cat and hit the inflatable, anything on the far side of the balloon is going to get punctured, too. I suggest blow-darts as a safe, silent, concealable alternative.

I could give instructions on how to make the darts and blow-pipe, but the important part is the delivery: just pucker up and blow....

And I imagine you'd offer instructions on the delivery too? Does sound like an eminently sensible suggestion..
