Pretty good day actually, spent a whole load of money for xmas about as much as the debt of a third world country!!
Just heading off to bed now so i can pay for what i bought today!!

It depends on where you live -- walking is easier than driving (never mind parking) in parts of town. And walking builds up the leg muscles. Leg muscles are good. Useful, like. Ol' Thunderthighs. Yep. Walk some power into those legs; the ladies will thank you for it.

Just some etymology for you peeps to chew over. Well, sorta etymology. Got inspired by AFM's kaput.

German words used in English

uber=over
kaput=broken
shrapnel=shards
achtung=warning

German can sound really funky. Es ist ein schone sprache. I couldn't help but giggle at 'Mein Auto ist kaput!' when I was learning German though. Tis just funny. It's fun to say though, especially if you breathe in helium first. So hilarious!

LOL yeah! Well, I studied French, German and Latin in school so I'm quite linguistic actually.. plus I'm obsessed with the English language in general. I love words!

French and german was enough for me, but a friend of mine from school was taught latin by his dad all he seem to us it for was insults tho
I probably remember more german than French, mainly due to my interest in WW2.

I know more about WW1 than 2, simply because I learned more about WW1 in history classes. But I'm interested in history too.. in fact I'm interested in everything. Learning all these languages does mean that I can explain etymology and spellings more, and I'm interested in that kind of stuff...and everything else.

I have some WW1 stuff stored in my head but not as much as i have WW2, also have a fair bit of ancient Egyptian up there too but i dont dust it off very often.
