Evening everyone, good to see some of the newer people are coming back to visit some more:D

and to concur we do like your posts marsi, even if its just for your ability to go off ata tangent with absolutely no provocation;)

No, it intruded on mine instead.

Well, WW, I surely hope that for you the reality, intruding or not, is less than harsh. I called it that in jest, but perhaps for you this is not a joking matter -- if it is not, I apologize. (And it is a joking matter, beware of clowns bearing joy buzzers.)

Man, I develop literally mountains of 'snot rags' when I have a cold. Maybe I long-distance transmitted my afflictions to you.

I live on about 5/6 hours sleep a day. AND I have more energy than other people (minus the coffee too). I live on adrenaline. I coughed so hard in the night recently that my abdominal and back muscles ached.

Hey, don't start trying to play the 'I can go longer without sleep than you can' game because you won't win it. I've had insomnia ever since I can remember and I can go for days without sleep and not feel tired. At university i could easily work all day, go out during the night, get back at 5am and read until I had to go back in again. I sleep when I think I should not when I'm tired, basically because i very rarely actually get tired. Also minus any form of caffeine fix, only the wholesome flavour of tapwater. Its weird though, go for a while without any sleep and you go through various stages, the first is being in a daze where you cant be sure of anything that happened more than 5 seconds ago, then you get hyper, finally you just start hallucinating, but you usually have to go without sleep for about a week for that to happen.

Although its possible that you 'transmitted' the virus to me, I think its more likely that my brother transmitted it to me when he had it last week.

Oh and by the way, we do love you marsi but your mental, randomised love object fancying is one of the reasons why, not why not :D

Although in my proffessional opinion you are technically nuttier than squirrel shit, that isn't a bad thing. Keep it up and in a few years you might be certifiable just like me!

Morning everyone, hope your day goes well.

Plas, I for one would never have guessed at your certifiability in the slightest, I know your crazy!!:D

Yeah, but crazy in a good way. The worst thing I could ever imagine being is normal, that's why I try my hardest to be abnormal at all times :D

Unfortunately I have to at least appear to be normal most of the time for my work, Lit amongdt other things provides an escape route to my "normal" self which is not at all normal!

This is a good a place as any to say hi to the UK lits people, there are 3 other UK threads, why not say hi in those too and meet some of the nice people that drop by.
:D

Well I've just said hi in the other threads. Well, not actually Hi. But you get the idea.

Nuttier than squirrel shit! Nice turn of phrase there! Oh yeah, I think we discussed insomnia in one of our PMs. Can't remember when.. I have a selective memory.

Plas has had short posts in the past. I swear. It's only since his return from his hiatus that he's been doing these long posts... it's very suspicious. What were you up to in the time in between? I know you got a job (and a girlfriend?) but surely that wuoldn't elicit such a change would it?

Oh and everybody...

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!

Rooster year!! Watched the Gala on TV. Was so cool. I love the xin zang ethnic clothing. It's so beautiful.

Oh yeah, if anybody has a thing for docile, obedient women go to this restaurant in Beijing--the women are all 'in role' and behave like servants at the royal palace (and in the costume and headdress and everything!!).

Also want to learn martial arts REAL bad now.... saw the Shaolin monks. I once had a randomised love object fancy on a shaolin monk... the way he walked was sexy (only saw his back, he was walking away from me). He had such fluid grace..

Okay, will try to be half-sane. Hm hm.

Yes we did discussed insomnia when we spoke about our deep personal relationship, and you know I care about you but my feelings haven't changed, I'm no good for you. You would only be happy if you were with me and everyone needs depression in their life to balance it out, you wouldn't be able to handle the pure bliss that you would have in a relationship with me. I'm sorry but its for your own good and I must put aside my personal feelings for you :D

I did get a job and right now I'm living off my final paycheck, awaiting my jobseekers allowance (Temporary contract). And my girlfriend is my on-again off-again girlfriend of the past 2 years. After a gap of about 8 months we decided to give it one last try. I get the feeling that she doesn't want to be alone on valentines day. I'd like to make it work but all the things that have stopped us in the past haven't really changed. i don't have high hopes :( Oh and for the record, I usually posted some pretty long statements earlier in the series as well as shorter ones. Its just that most of the time I'm limited to one or two internet connections a day so I have to pack everything together into one massive post. This shall all change when i have broadband... lookout world, on the 23rd of this month I SHALL HAVE BROADBAND!!!!!! (or at least shall be ABLE to get broadband)

Marsi, I Loooove martial arts but I have to admit its been a while since I did any. I think i've mentioned all the different types i've done before but i'm still a fan of kendo :D I got a new set of Katanas over christmas too! Yay! Full tang! Japanese Steel! I can cut down trees with them! YAY!! Interesting side note, for some reason most people seem to think that martial arts originated in china, this is true for about 33% of the martial arts out there, but the majority of them actually originated in Japan and were transferred over, similarly Ninja are assumed to be chinese assasins, also not true. HOLLYWOOD HAS A LOT TO ANSWER FOR!!! Although Sun Tzu has been repoted as being Japanese in the past, when he was chinese. You can't blame Hollywood for that because they don't put high brow things into Hollywood films.

P.S. Monkey is cool! (and chinese) *Ow, ow ow ow ow! No! Tribitaka!* :D

Happy Chinese New Year everyone!

Greetings for the day

Wishing all a Happy Chinese New Year

and/or

Solemn Ash Wednesday

(as appropriate)
