Hey Hotlips, how are you darling I know all strangers about now I'm afraid, some like young Nem are friendly and nice peeps, a lot seem aloof and in some clique or other... not like Brits don't know what's going wrong.

Oh well, will starve tonight (to be honest, I ate what most people would term a normal amount--I just eat twice as much as the normal person usually).

Am sick of bread though..been eating too much of it recently. But love mushrooms.

I'm guessing you like LotR then Denethor? I like the movies but not the books--I find them too slowly-paced and the prose isn't lively enough for me. Plus the characters aren't interesting.

Legolas is pretty though.

I like both the books and movies. Read the book about 11 years ago as a child, and has stuck with me as favourite from my childhood. Understand what you mean about the book being somewhat slow-paced, the first part definitely was, but near the end of the book it was got much better gradually. Tolkien also wrote the English language in quite a masterful way for children, because he had actually primarily aimed his stories at children and young adults anyway. The movies are cool, but was a little upset they had left out some really pivotal/crucial moments that made the ROTK book such a good read. Still the extended DVD version should have it all when it comes out later in the year.

Not bad at all. The Germans played well thoughout the first half, then in the 2nd Holland played even better. Van Nistleroy scored too, yay!

Definitely two teams that could cause trouble throughout the competition.

I watched it.. yeah it was a great game but the best so far was lastnight Sweden vs. Bulgaria!!

Have got both Fellowship and Two Towers extended editions, looking very forward to ROTK.
