Has anybody ever tried using aphrodisiac soap? I went window-shopping today (I didn't even bother bringing money--just went wiht a couple of friends) and went to let's see: All-Sports, Ann Summers, Lush, Waterstones and Kookai.

There was some aphrodisiac soap in Lush and I rubbed some of the tester on to my hands, but as of yet seems to have had no effect (?? maybe I'm immune). Showed friends the erotica section in Waterstones, forced them into Ann Summers (one of them is all right with this stuff but the other just gets very embarrassed--especially we were the only ones in there apart from this guy) and tried on some clothes in Kookai--a skirt and some denim hotpants. Skirt looked okay, but hotpants were a bit tight. Maybe that was the point though. Personally, I'd wear something looser just to make it more comfortable! Maybe should have tried the size 12.

Isn't window-shopping kinda embarrassing though? Especially when shop-keepers come and ask you what you're looking for. Once went into monsoon and tried on all the pretty dresses (some of the bridal stuff too) and didn't buy a single thing. They must get annoyed!
 
Interesting story, but most of us are in the situation of wanting to write things about the way adults actually do live, or could. (In your story, they'd probably charge him corkage!) So there isn't really a market for it. Mainstream finction wants organs left out that I'd sooner leave in, and the porn market wants robots. Can't think why. Don't we read as well as write?

There is OFFICIALLY something wrong with my stomach. Just had a proper meal (v. big bowl of rice with different stuff added)

Am still hungry. Maybe it's one of those mental things. My stomach feels empty, but it obviously isn't. It's probably why I end up eating twice as much as other people. When I begin to feel sick, I realise I'm full and stop eating.
