Read 'Angels and Demons' yesterday and a ton of erotica. I just realised my local cinema is showing shrek 2 previews so I can go see it not this saturday but the sat after. Can't wait to see Shrek's legolas impression!!

..And the readathon continues. Read 'Deception Point' today (also by Dan Brown). There was a 3 for 2 offer at Borders so got three Dan Brown novels. So I end up reading the three. They're all very good, but the Da Vinci Code is certainly the best. They all follow a similar formula, especially Angels and Demons and Da Vinci Code. Always some twist involving the anonymous evil person turning out to be a close friend/ally.

Spent yesterday night at a cool electro club, then managed stumbled back home round 6am. A good night (from what I can remember )

Funny thing from 'Angels and Demons'. There's a description, or say, reference to a statue of St Teresa sculpted by Bernini in the book. The sculpture is named 'the ecstasy of st teresa' and describes the ecstasy she experienced when seeing an angel. She wrote in her journals and I quote: '"…his great golden spear…filled with fire… plunged into me several times…penetrated to my entrails…a sweetness so extreme that one could not possibly wish it to stop." - St. Teresa'
