Nem,

Nice reference and starngely enough the film it's from (Hulk in case anyone doesn't know) , is one of the things M & I were discussing!

Sadly I'm old enough to remember Bill Bixby saying the line in the original TV pilot series!!

Agh no, there aren't any rules or anything. PM all you like!

Nem, if mosquitos go after girls cos they're 'hot' then why don't movie stars have huge lumps on their legs when they work on location in Mexico and stuff?? It's just not fair *sigh*.

Originally, the holiday was going to be a nice, quiet stay in the Lake District with the family and stuff, but as usual, everybody gets carried away (it's the result of getting British passports--no need for visa and stuff) and we start going 'France! Spain! Italy! Greece! Egypt!! America!!!' but we decided on Italy. I was looking forwards to eating lots of Italian food, but it turns out that only me and my brother like it and my parents and friend's parents detested it. So most of the time, we had Chinese food. Thing is, Chinese food is mega-cheap. I mean, my family eat TONS, and we were all full and only spent around 30 euros.

Next year we go to Greece, where I'll probably get even more tanned. The year after, Egypt. We're going back in time, see. Fortunately, the histories of these places are ones which I know quite well so my family will have their own little tour guide.

I'm just jealous of those mosquitos who got to get their mouths on your legs.

Tanned is good. Burnt is bad.

Well, I currently really dislike mosquitos, they gave me a horrible time. The most painful thing, actually, was self-inflicted. Whilst scratching one of the bites, I managed to get a five cm scratch mark down the front of my leg. With my nails, I somehow managed to get a layer of skin off and drew blood. I mean, my nails are 2mm, 3mm long (I play piano, so can't have long nails). That really smarted actually. It's funny, cos all the pictures I have of me in Venice my legs are normal, and then in Florence I've got red blotches and by Rome I've got scratches and blotches.

I've never burnt (yet). Keeping my fingers crossed here. But my tan-colour is nicer than I thought it woudl be. I expected to turn a grey-brown colour like this Chinese girl I know who sunbathed continually when she went to the bahamas and came back to England very brown--but it wasn't a particularly nice brown. I tan more orange.

I always disliked mosquitos Marsipanne, lol

I don't burn, go brown but never burnt in my life

By the way Nem, I relaly like your little collection of smiley things at the bottom of your sig, they're funny. I like the one with the smiley on the toilet and the exploding one (this one is very familiar to me since it is commonly used in a certain forum I frequent--not this one though).

I have learnt something about myself though--when I'm tired, I start walking weird. See, when you're tired, you tend to want to move less but at the same time move quickly (so you can find your recharging spot). Well, I end up walking with a really odd gait--like a very bizarre form of speedwalking. My dad purposefully videotaped it to prove it to me--I didn't beileve him when he said I walked like a speedwalker. Saying I speedwalk is an exaggeration, but it's because I'm not bothered to lift my feet of the floor very much so I sort of swing very fast, and also swing my arms more, and sway my hips a lot. It's really funny actually to walk. Watching the tape of me walking made everybody laugh--which I suppose is actually a bad thing.

wow, great website! I'm changing my avatar now, to an anime one. Will probably change every few days now that I've found this site..
Nice new Av you got too!!!

It is a really good site

That's Motoko from Love Hina. I actually kind of look like that (fringe and straight black hair). Reason I chose her is partly cos of resemblance and also because despite her being uber-feminist, fighting kind of girl, by the end of the series, she's writing erotica, so it has particular relevance to this site!

Anywya, I'm going to bed now, so night everyone (who's still up)

Hmmm kinky, lol :)

We like to welcome people here at Lit mate, I got a nice welcome when I joined and so I always give others one too.

Welcome to Lit, Beedle. Hope you have fun here. I fit only one requirement of yours, that I'm female, but none of the others. Kinda wrong age here.

Anyways, have fun!

..and the lovely trend of attracting bugs continues.

A wasp just flew into my room, buzzed around for a while and then landed on my leg (here I let out a yelp). I got it off my leg before it bit me, and it flew around a bit, landed on the carpet--where it stopped moving despite my flappings. Now, I think it's actually dead. Why did it even bother to fly into my room to die???

dear damselle (or mistress?!) in distress. recovered yet? shame i wasnt around to kiss and nurse it better, comforting you, seeing to your needs. hope you got better -or will do soon. not been stung by any wasps / bees etc since i was a kid -oddly enough some time ago right up the distant past.

Awww Marsipanne,

You really don't have much luck with insects do you...

Hope your alright now tho.

 to make it better. lol

Just realised...wasps don't bite. *thwacks self on head*

Agh, I've got a sore throat now, I don't know why! It's sweltering here.I think it's because I breathed too much through my nose last night when I was sleeping.

eta: I've never ever been stung by a bee, thankfully!

Well, something that has happened recently is that the person who told me to join literotica--TheEarl, has returned to lit (no idea why he left in the first place, might have been too much work or soemthing). Anyway, The E. is a big Author's Hangout guy, but I'm sure he's posted on this thread somewhere, seeing how he's from England.

Malice: did you know that there's a manga called 'Vampire Game'? I've read the first two books of it; it's quite good. There's a cross-dressing pretty-boy in it (well, manga isn't manga without a cross-dressing pretty-boy in there somewhere)
