If I got PMs like that from men or women wanting to show me their cunt I'd worry about their maturity. I'm with a beautiful woman already and would rather see her body parts or fuck her than get lame PMs from idiots like that you mentioned.

I just posted 11 quick messages on lit .. and dammit my pms seem to work now. i hope it doesnt change after that to a higher number i dont post much on the forums but 11 is the magic number.

Not to bump this thing forever, but I was so glad to see that my discovery helped someone else, plus the welcomes all around really made me smile.

I wanted to add too that this indeed appears to be a brand new rule. Were I not PMing successfully up till a couple days ago, I wouldn't have been so quick to conclude something is terribly wrong just in my case.

I used PMs as a means of talking to friends I already know, so I never really made it to the public forums; the time doesn't allow either. But I can see how the rule would make sense for discouraging stalkers, and in any case, a dozen posts really isn't a gigantic effort. I don't resent at all being made to step out of the closet. I'm afraid I can't promise to become much more active in future, but I know I won't be afraid to post again. The atmosphere here is really wonderful.

UPDATE:

There IS no magic number. I heard back from the Admin's and they were doing some system work that looks to have affected some people.

Anyone still having trouble, please PM me and it wll get sorted out!
