UnderCover Trouble (Closed)

Sarah disappeared into the bathroom and Angelo raised his hands and wiped his face with both of them. Fuck what had he gotten himself into with this woman. She was incredibly hot and she was....well, for lack of better terms, off limits being a lesbian and all.

He turned in the room and slipped his shirt back on and slid his feet into his shoes. Just simple breathing, her scent was on his shirt and keeping her in his mind. Then the bathroom door swung open and she walked out.

Angelo pushed up from the edge of the bed where he was sitting and noticed the protrusions on her tight dress from her nipples. "Lovely." He said with a smirk as he walked towards the door. "Let's go." He had to get out of this room with her.

Reaching the car and climbing in, Sarah moved to the backseat and he watched in the rearview mirror as she changed before climbing back up to join him in the front seats. Looking over at the shirt, if you could call it that, that she was wearing now. "Fuck it doesn't matter what you wear...." he grumbled as he started up the car.

Sarah bit her lip to keep her from muttering back towards the man as she agreed that Ally's choice was far from what she would have picked herself. But Ally had been deliberate with her choice, knowing that people and men in general tended to seriously underestimate beautiful women especially those that looked as if they lived on instagram. After a second she turned to Angelo. " So what is the plan today?"

"You just dont realize how sexy you are." Angelo muttered as he pulled out of the hotel parking lot and back out onto the highway.

Driving along for a bit and wheeling into a small cafe for some coffee when she asked about the plan. "I'm honestly not sure. We drive to the address. Hopefully the drop goes off without a hitch and we head back."

Ordering a large black coffee, Sarah listened to the plan as stated by Angelo and still couldn't believe just how mundane it all sounded. She knew this wasn't a movie, but with how hard this organisation was to pin down when it came to the transport, and distribution of drugs, the money laundering and the blatant corruption and brutal murders of anyone who stepped out of line she just had a hard time picturing it all was because they kept it all simple like this. But then maybe this was why they never really got caught before.

Her phone buzzed and she could see a text from Ally with a picture added to it with the caption Mood. Seeing black and red she know this meant that Ally would not be close. Red and black meaning high danger.

Angelo climbed out of the car and pulled open the door for Sarah and they walked in. Ordering a black coffee for himself also and paying for both of them, he stepped to the side to wait.

Ragusa's scheduled deliveries were never set up like portrayed in the movies. There were no long hauls of huge quantities being moved by large trucks or ships. Those drew attention. Those drew cops and investigations. Everything was small for quick ins and outs and moving onto the next venture. Although, this run was the largest that Angelo had ever hauled across state lines.

Angelo glanced over Sarah's shoulder as her phone buzzed and she opened up the screen. "Wow, that your girlfriend?" He asked in a hushed tone so only she could hear. Keeping their relationship cover.

Sarah laughed at the question. "No you know her as Bitch but loves anal." She said wondering how men went through their day without the ability to recognise women from one style to the other. But taking her phone she snapped a picture of the outfit and captioned it. "Ready to rock"

Putting the phone down she said. "If any of your friends check my phone they will just see too besties chatting, but we have colourcoding set up. This one just makes sure to say that we are getting all of the space to do our thing."

Angelo looked at Sarah as she laughed and cocked an eyebrow as she told him who the woman in the picture was. "Ahh I see." He answered back as Sarah raised her phone and snapped a selfie before sending it and putting her phone away.

Listening as Sarah explained the secret coding they are using with each other's pictures to relay messages. "And what do the other colors signify? Our lives are in each other's hands so it might be wise to let me in on the scoop in case something happens and I need to alert someone."

Sarah shrugged at Angelo's request. " I don't know, it's more complicated than just colours. See it as girl code. If you want it, you will have to go through Abby." She said wondering if she had said to much about this already. She found it hard to find a way to both build trust with the criminal but at the same time keeping a professional amount of distance.

"But I'm general just assume that they are listening in and be sure to remember the codewords they gave you." She said assuming the feds had talked to him before hand about this.

Ally:

The young Fed slammed her phone down cursing as she hung up on one of her analytical sources within the bureau. It seemed that her suspicion about MacCalister was right. This seemed to be more of a personal takedown of Ragusa, from the Irish mob, using a corrupt Fed, than a legitimate Fed action. Which meant that their asset was in far more danger than previously expected as it seemed that Angelo was also on their shitlist.

Texting some of the people she trusted she wondered oh best to deal with the rat in their ranks, without fucking up this chance to take out the whole organisation

Angelo sneered at Sarah slightly as she started to clam up with the information. That's ok though. He had his own secrets too about this all being a carefully orchestrated ruse on his part.

"Yeah I know what to remember." He tried to hide the annoyed growl in his voice. Picking up his cup and downing the rest of his coffee before tossing the empty cup away and checking his watch.

"Time is getting close. We should be heading out. Make sure you put on your big girl panties." He said with a smirk hiding his uneasiness on the unknown situation they were about to walk into.

Sarah picked up on the cooling in his voice as it was clear he did not like her standing on her boundaries, but at the end of the day, this could not be helped. Finishing her coffee she followed the man back to their car and ad answered. "Fuck no, taking them off would be too much work" she said hoping the joke would bring them back over the little hurdle

Stepping back out into the morning light, Angelo slipped his sunglasses on as he walked back towards the car with Sarah in tow.

Hearing her comment about taking them off, Angelo paused and looked back over his shoulder with a smirk. "I could offer you a hand with that." He replied as he turned back and closed the last distance to the car and climbed in.

Waiting on Sarah before pulling away from the coffee shop and following the GPS to the address. Slowing down as he purposefully drove past the location trying to look and see if anything was out of the ordinary before turning the car and circling around the block.

Reaching to his back and pulling his gun from his waist band and racking the slide to chamber a round. He laid it on his thigh as he drove back around.

"I bet you would" she said jokingly before stepping in the car, happy to be back in a jovial mode, as this helped her to aliviate the stress she was feeling.

Driving around she held back about asking questions as she figured that he either told her everything he knew, or not and that badgering him about it wouldn't help.

As he made sure rhey were not followed and pulled out a gun, she felt some unease, not about him having a gun, but mostly about her not having one. "If this isn't a trap you should bring me to the firing range for a date. " she said then added. "That way you wouldn't have to explain why you would let your chicken carry a piece around."

Angelo glanced over at Sarah as she made the comment about taking her to a firing range. "A date huh? Freudian slip? Or intentional?" He asked with a slight curl at the corners of his mouth.

Wheeling the car back around the block, he slowed and pulled the car into the driveway at the back of the building and slowly rolled up towards the covered loading dock.

Staying behind the wheel as he glanced around taking in the scene before reaching for the door handle. "If this shit goes south, get out of the gate and run."

"Not at all but wat better way to show off your new girl, than bringing her around the boys during dates..."

Sarah nodded at his instruction even if she didn't think that running away frow the car was the safest route, and as Angelo exited the car she slid herself into his seat and placed the truck into gear like they were thought to do during traffic stops.

"There's that date word again." Angelo teased Sarah with a smirk before opening the door and starting to step out. Glancing in and seeing her slip behind the wheel.

As he looked back up, a suit and two armed guys stepped out onto the dock. "Angelo Garzia in the flesh." The suit said with a smirk on his face. "You came after all. I was wondering if Ragusa would send you. You've made quite a name for yourself from what I've heard, Ace."

Angelo held his gun down by his thigh. Hidden slightly by the front corner of the truck. Something about this didn't feel right, Angelo's gut told him. "I've got your drop from Ragusa. Let's get this over with."

Two more guys walked out from somewhere behind the car and started unloading the duffel bags from the back. As the trunk was slammed closed again, the suit nodded to them and spoke up. "By the way, I need you to deliver a message back to Ragusa for me."

"Oh? And what would that be?" Angelo asked still on edge. And he was caught off gaurd as the suit and his two companions raised their guns and started shooting at Angelo. "Fucking drive.' He yelled at Sarah as he tried to cover and return fire.

Sarah was a little anxious as not only two armed men had stepped out of the warehouse, but mostly because she only noticed the extra two when the opened the trunk. As they smashed the trunk closed everything happend fast. The two men were still mid draw when Sarah hit the gas.

While Angelo screamed at her to drive, the car lurched already backwards, hitting the two men violently as Sarah had the car set in reverse since their exit had been behind them. Then pushing it in first gear she barreled at the two shooting men. Making a left hand turn to turn the car around. Forcing the shooters to dive for cover or get hit.

Then leaning over she opened the door for Angelo and started to drive towards the gate, scanning for the dufflebags or the men holding them for another pass.

Everything happened suddenly but time slowed. The car lurched backwards away from Angelo as Sarah gunned the gas. Angelo scrambled the other direction foe some crates that were stacked up on the lot.

The chaos of the situation was mind boggling as two guys screamed out when they were hit by the car Sarah was driving around the lot. The suit still in his vantage point up on the docks but his two goons had made their way down and Sarah had changed direction, aiming the front bumper for both of them.

As they dove, Angelo spotted the suit shift his aim for the front window of the car at Sarah. "Fuck." Angelo reacted and raised up again shooting in the direction of the dock as Sarah spun the car around and swung the door open.

Still a good distance away, Angelo scrambled for the open car as the suit's attention was back on him again. Reaching the edge of the car, Angelo felt two bites of sharp stabbing pain and dropped on the ground just before he made it to the open door. Scrambling to push himself up, he quickly pulled himself into the seat as the back glass shattered. "Go!!!!" He screamed at Sarah in a panic.

Sarah tucked her head as the glass if the backscreen exploded as bullets hit their truck. The second Angelo was somewhat into the car, she hit the gas again and aimed the truck towards the gate. Seeing one of the tugs on their path raise a gun towards them, the young rookie swipped the car towards him forcing the man to make a choice.

The man seemed to freeze for a second before jumping away, proving yet again the benefits of aggressive defensive driving. Then without losing a second she zoomed their truck through the gate and she made their way to the highway.

Taking a deep breath she swiped at her phone as Ally called them.

"We are a bit busy there Ally." She said looking in the back view mirror, to see if they were followed.

"We heard yes. Angelo, did Ragusa set you up? Or do we have a leak here?"

She asked in a tone of voice that she was more looking for a confirmation instead of a real answer.

Angelo held on as Sarah tried to get them off the warehouse lot. The car dodging and swerving as gunshots rang out and bullets pinged off the metal of the truck.

Making his way into the truck and swinging the door closed as the tires chirped and squealed meeting the pavement of the road and lurching forward. The bounce jarred Angelo and he groaned out, grabbing for his side. Pulling his hand away and seeing it covered in blood as Ally's voice rang out from Sarah's phone.

"It wasn't Ragusa. This was a message. Get me a god damn doctor." He groaned.

Ally:

" Fuck " Ally said as this was probably the confirmation she needed to fully peg MacCalister as on the payroll of the Irish mob. This complicated the operation to the umpped degree, but most off all this didn't gave her the proof she needed to reach out to Internal affairs. " Okay I am going to need a couple of hours to set something up. Until then keep your heads low and for God's sake do not trust anyone in your Organization. Byrd probably was not the only one in on the coup and people are out there to get rid of any of Ragusa's loyalists." With that she closed the convo down and rushed to headquarters. If she wanted to set up a task force shielded from prying eyes, she would have to cash in a lot of favors.

Sarah:
"Shit" She said as Ally hung up on them, and looking at Angelo, she could see the criminal had been hit. " Can you make it for another half an hour?" She asked before hitting the number for Alina, who luckily she knew by heart. As the phone got picked up she said. " Hey babe, no time to explain, can you meet me at your dad's cabin? Bring your medkit, its not for me. " and without waiting for a reply she hung up, knowing that it would be better not to speak at length over the phone like this.

Angelo listened to the conversation of Ally through the phone. "Everyone is on my shit list. And I dont care what you do just find me some fucking help." He growled as the call disconnected.

"Oh fuck me." He groaned as the call ended and he heard Sarah's question. "Yeah...maybe...fuck I dont know." Angelo answered her back when she asked if he could make it and he heard the quick call she made, talking about some cabin.

Angelo tried to relax as much as he could while bleeding all over his truck as it bounced down the road. Thankful that he had Sarah driving with him or he probably wouldn't have made it out.

Sarah reached over to the glove compartment and opened it, hoping that there would be a first aid kit. She always had one in her truck, and it was common sense to have one, but alas she had stopped enough motorists to know that common sense is not that common. " Where are you hit? and look if you can stem the bleeding at least a little. " She said hoping it wasn't so bad that she would have to choose between stopping and trying to help out, or driving to get to the doc as soon as possible.

" Two things." She said thinking about how best to say this. " One I am forced to drag my girlfriend into this. She will patch you up, but I swear to God, the second you disrespect her, or even look at her wrong, you are a dead man." She was surprised that she actually meant it. But seeing how brutal he and his coworkers were, she just didn't feel like playing around. " Two, who wants to take over from Ragusa, what do you expect them to hit us next, and how do you think we can stop them?"

Angelo watched Sarah fumble around in the glove compartment. He shifted and tried to wiggle out of his shirt to ball it up and hold it against his side. "Right above my fucking hip." He groaned in response. "I think."

Vaguely listening as Sarah tried to give him rules as he head started to get foggy and his words slurring. "I donnn.....i dont....know....wh.... Fuuucckkk." He groaned as the last thing he remembered was his vision blurring and everything fading black.

"Shit shit shit" She said as the man next to her lost consciousness. Looking at his side of the car it didn't look like there was a lot of blood, so that probably meant that the bleeding was internal, and so far outside of her first aid experience. So instead of wasting time stopping at the side of the road, she stepped on the gas hoping she would make it in time.

Arriving at the cabin she slammed on the break, skidding to a halt, relieved to see that Alina's car was already there. Jumping out of the car, her girlfriend was out and by her side by the time she had run around the car and started to try to haul Angelo out of the car. The man was heavier than he looked but luckily they managed to get him inside, and Alina immediately went to work on his hip. She was calm and collected, not surprising since even though she was going to take over a small town general practice, she had done her residency in the city. " Your special agent buddy here is in luck. " She said and for a second Sarah didn't understand what she was saying, but then she figured that Ally had simply lied to her. Instead of saying that she was undercover by the side of a criminal, she probably said that she was assisting a federal agent. " The wound is not that bad, no major blood vessel hit, if I would have to guess, the two of you have been burning the midnight oil, didn't properly eat since you are on the gig and only had coffee this morning?"

Sarah bit her lips to hold back a snarky comment, but mostly because she felt busted. Alina winked at her as she sewed the wound shut, and prepped a bag of what probably was glucose water, before sticking it into Angelo's arm. She then turned around and gave Sarah a deep, loving kiss, before jokingly saying. " Good thing I know you are 100% on the pussy train, or i would have to start worrying." And without giving Sarah any time to respond, she started kissing her again.

Unaware of what was going on around him for god knows how long, Angelo eventually started to open his eyes again and found himself laying across a dining room table in some cabin.

Vaguely remembering something about a cabin being mentioned earlier. He started to raise up to sit and the pain shot through his side as he reached for it. Remembering being shot and feeling the twine of the stitches in his side, he managed to push himself up to sitting and he reached down, pulling the IV needle out of his arm. 'Fuck. What about Sarah?!?! Is she ok?' were the next thoughts that ran through his head.

"Sarah!!! Where are you?" He called out into the cabin as he tried to get off the table and stand up.
