I need some help in understanding how the Story Search function works. In particular, if you enter a term or terms in the Search Text field, what exactly is searched? Is it the title, the short description of the story, the first page of the story text, or the entire story text?
To give a concrete example I read a story earlier today in the Loving Wives section about a man who thought he caught his wife cheating and hired a detective to gather the evidence. Several times the man described his wife as a "dumb blonde". The detective turned out to be the wife's uncle who helped the wife turn the tables on the husband and confront him about his own cheating. In the confrontation she gave him four options for continuing the marriage. Option one: an open marriage. Option two: continued cheating by both partners. Option three: fidelity. Option four: divorce.
The husband chose to leave his wife in disgrace and penniless. He moved away, started drinking and fell on very hard times. He was befriended and given a job in a bar in a very rough neighborhood by a man named "Bear". "Bear" worked with him to help him rebuild his life and get sober. Eventually Bear contacted his wife to let her know that he still loved her. The wife had become a successful novelist during their time apart and had won an Author of the Year Award for her latest novel. She came to town to receive the award, found her former husband, took him to the ceremony, and reconciled with him. Towards the end of the story we learned that Bear's real name was "Marion Feathers".
I tried several search combinations to find this story. Unfortunately, search strings using variations of the terms "Bear", "Marion Feathers", "Option one", "Author of the Year", "Dumb Blonde", etc. were unable to find the story.
Any guidance on how the functions actually work and the name and/or author of the story in question would be appreciated.
