Yea that was an accessories ban....semi-Automatic rifles/carbines, pistols and full auto machine guns were all still 100% available.

So no....nobody is getting up in arms about banning the sale of certain accessories on new guns.

IF there were to be a gun grab however without appropriate legal procedure to re-write the US Constitution then that could very well result in the start of a second civil war.

Shotguns make up about 7-9% and rifles (including 'assault' weapons) make up between less than 1% to 3%.

Automatics are strictly regulated and almost almost never used in instances of gun crimes.
