Unsatisfied wives..!!

Ditto

what is ironic is that as a male I am finding myself relating more to the female situation. I am in the same situation with many of you ladies. I have a great wife, married 35 years. If I could pick 50 things I would want in a relationship she would have 48. But after menopause and a couple of minor health issues, she has zero sex drive. And mine is still like it was 25 years ago. We used to talk about sex openly, but now she is just uninterested. I even wrote a LIT story for her and her response was "very nice, you were always good with words". Not exactly the response I was hoping for. We have gone to therapy with no positive results. I would love to hear a ladies perspective on my situation.

An excellent stumble upon thread.

I can only speak for myself but being forced to be away from each other for months at a time has helped my relationship IMO. I've only been back a week and this crazy girl basically rapes me every morning and night but it was also like that before I left. 13 years and still going strong. The time apart helps us both to appreciate the time spent together.

We are both vocal about what we expect/desire out of each other and (something I read earlier) making her laugh is just as important as making her cum. We are one of the few high school success stories but it is work. Most people I know feel like love is a thing that shouldn't require work, like the fact that they are there is enough. It simply is not the case. Love is being able to look at someone from across a crowded room and, simply by sight letting them know that you hear, know, trust, and love them - that there isn't anyone you would rather be there with.

I've had plenty of opportunities in the past to trade in over the years but it wasn't ever a trade up. I definitely married above my station and I'm good with that. Something about the competitiveness of women and carefree attitude of military people makes this a lifestyle for singles but it isn't something that interests me. I'm 83% sure the wife is honest but since she tells me about the dumb asses that hit on her when I'm not there it helps put my mind at ease. She's a grown up and capable of making her own decisions, the only thing I ask is that if she ever decides to leave that she can't use the kids against me. Those little shits mean the world to me, especially the little one that doesn't speak so well, she might be my favorite. :D

I don't know, I might just be drunk so forgive my rambling. I guess all I'm saying is that I agree with TFF that for every unhappy wife there is an equally unhappy husband. It goes both ways, I don't know why our marriage works for us. Maybe because I love eating pussy, who knows.

Well I'm certainly not "unhappy" but I sure did enjoy reading your story!

And I think you're right, in a strong, healthy relationship absence (and abstinence!) makes the heart and the hard-on grow stronger. ;)

But getting your partner to experiment outside their comfort zone is something different. Unfortunately, I'm a bigger pervert than my husband. That's my story in a nutshell.

Which is frustrating ... but it doesn't mean I'm unhappy.

I would love to help you explore getting out of your "nutshell".
