Just a note on voyeurism: it is NOT a way of life; all is good when everyone's aware of what is going on and everybody wants what is going on. Here's a little case in the Columbus, Ohio area that I found amusing. Some dude in his early 20's used his cell phone camera to take an upskirt pic of a 14-year old at a grocery store. Her mom caught him, went ballistic, and called the cops, and he was arrested. THEN he faced additional charges of tampering with evidence because once the cops arrived, he tried to delete the pics.

Some people around here are pretty closed-minded, or at least less open-minded than they'd like others to believe. I've noticed a few people (nobody who posts regularly on these boards) who are so narrow-minded and judgmental when it comes to all things sex that I wonder why they're here at all.

A lot of us are guilty of judging our fellow Litsters, some of us more so than others. I'll admit that I've done this, though I'm not particularly proud of it. Even though I consider myself generally open-minded, some issues, sexual and otherwise, discussed on Lit really make me want to go into attack mode. Most of the time I can stay out of those threads. Most of the time.

Like I said in an earlier post, it's one of the pitfalls of a public forum. Anytime you say something that someone doesn't happen to like or agree with, you run the risk of being on the receiving end of judgmental attitudes. I've been on the receiving end of such behavior myself, as have a lot of others who are interested in or endorse sexual behavior that isn't what's considered "mainstream."

For me, the paramount issue is whether or not the parties involved are adults who are able to consent to the activity/activities. Even though I still might be offended/repulsed by the activity, I try not to interfere. I don't always succeed, but I really do try.

I've said it before on other threads: there's no point in getting into the my-kink-is-morally-superior-to-your-kink argument around here, because some people judge/condemn ALL of us simply for being here.
