We're making progress with you!
Now, about President Trump defying court orders. Care to defend the felon?
Trump has not defied any lawful court order.
The order to return the planes was NOT INCLUDED in the final order of the court. The final order is what has to be obeyed, not the interim thoughts and decisions of the court which lead up to that final order because the court can change its mind during the deliberations and discussion. ONLY the final order is required to be obeyed.
Secondly, a court which has NO JURISDICTION (per SCOTUS - and because the immigration laws restrict jurisdiction to immigration courts and not the Federal courts) to hear a matter cannot issue a lawful order. Any orders issued by a court without jurisdiction are void ab initio and do not have to be obeyed by anyone.
Here's the kicker; if the court has no jurisdiction to order a party to do something, and that party ignores the court, the court cannot impose contempt proceedings against that party.
And then we get to the real nut buster; if the court in their zeal to bring contempt proceedings against a party says they're in CRIMINAL contempt, the court is in violation of the Constitution (per SCOTUS ruling that the President is immune for official acts) and that violation is itself outside the law. This places the judge who makes such an order in a position of being charged with various and felonious criminal acts against the government.
So, you go ahead and continue to support those unlawful acts. Because it only shows you're either stupid or a participant or both.
I vote both.
