Just an FYI for all of George's friends..he asked me to post this for him

He called me tonight and he is in the hospital.His blood count is half of what it should be.They are giving him 3 units of blood and keeping him until he is more stable and the doctors have a better idea of what's going on.I am working tomorrow till around 6 and then I will call him for another update.

If you have anything you want me to pass on to him PM me

Evening Friends

I talked to George this evening.The 3 units of blood are in him now and he's feeling a little stronger
Tomorrow morning they are going to put the scope down his throat and take a peek to see if they can find anything out of the ordinary.Doctors are still trying to figure out the source of his problem,ruling things out one by one.
I'll keep you all updated when I hear from him again..

I need to leave for work in a couple of minutes...I tried to contact george but there was no answer...hoping they have him out of the room doing the scope.When I get home from work tonight it will be too late for the call to go threw the switchboard.

I will call first thing tomorrow morning and pass along any update I have.

Latest Update:

When they did the scope today they found a tumor in Scott's distal duodenum

A biopsy was taken and they should have the results on Monday.He will be in the hospital till at least Monday probably longer.

Let's keep our wonderful friend in our thoughts and prayers

He is home for a few days between additional testing that needs to be scheduled.They gave him an additional 2 units of blood to help him when he goes to surgery.

When any new information comes along I will pass it on

Hey everyone just got off the phone with our friend. His PET scan is scheduled for Wednesday. Surgery could happen on Monday of next week...he will have a better idea later this week. Still awaiting biopsy results.......
