The Return

Elizabeth put her hand upon her hip in a scolding gesture as his smile retreated from his lips, and flashed him a succulent look with those pale blue eyes of hers. "Come now Troy; surely you've gotten use to this by now?" She asked in a serious tone, though as she seen a flicker run through his azure eyes she couldn't help but feel her heart skip ten beats. why is he looking at me like that? She thought to herself in a slight flush, which only quickened as he stepped closer to her, and she smiled as her form was pressed into his. A lusty sheen preceded their passionate kiss, and Elizabeth even made a pleasant sound through the side of his lips as her tongue intertwined with his own. She reveled in that emotion for a few moments before more intense feelings before to course through her body from the placement of his hand on her back, and she gasped a lovely bit of air back into his mouth as he caressed her skin.

Elizabeth pressed her curves into Troy at that point, her half of the kiss now becoming more fierce as she brought her finger tips trailing up his sides to knead hard into his well defined pecs. "Mmmmmm." she moaned sweetly into the kiss at the feeling of how hard they were, but then all too quickly for her liking Troy pulled back, leaving her staring into those lusty azure orbs of his. She listened to his words with a lusty sheen deep in her pale blue eyes, and she flicked her hair back in a seductive motion as he completed his question. "I think I have blood enough for the both of us now." She said huskily to him, now feeling completely uncontrolled of her own actions as she stepped in close to him again, and wrapped her arms around his neck to plant upon him a rough kiss. The subtle motions of her tongue were like the perfect balance of tender and fierce, and to top it all off she broke from it within a couple of moments with a bite to his lower lips that stained her own with his blood. She then proceeded to lick the drops off her lower lip while uttering the words. "Mmmmmm; tasty." With that she flicked her hair and began to walk off, her hips holding a dangerously seductive sway to them.

After no more than six paces Elizabeth looked back to him with a slightly blushing expression. "Well are we gonna go grab a bite or not?" She asked somewhat playfully, flashing him yet another of those teasing grins before she felt her stomach flutter with the unease of his blood. Bloody hell Elizabeth, what are you doing? She asked herself in unsure tones before she began on her way out toward the lobby, eyes trailing back to him now and again to make sure he was in tow, and in tow he was. His movements were as fluid and graceful as they had been since she first met him, and even now she found herself attracted to those near carnal good looks of his. Your getting too close Elizabeth, he's breaking you down. She told herself with a frown as she clicked her tongue before winking at one of the guards Troy had previously insulted, and they gave her a near judgmental look.

Just as they were reaching the end of the lobby however a large vampire that Elizabeth had no love for walked out in front of them, his eyes streaming with rage at Troy. Elizabeth frowned at this show, and her shield seemed to regrow temporarily. "What's your business Velor?" She asked him in vampiric, and he merely pointed toward Troy with a grunt, and said. "I'm going to tear him apart." His words were stilted, and in poor use of vampiric, showing clearly why he didn't speak that often. "I don't think so." She said to him in a rough tone, her head tilting to the side as an impenetrable mask of illusions crossed her facial features. For all her talk however Velor didn't seem to want to listen, and came in at them. she rushed forward being the closer, her plan being to knock him off course, but instead the man just barreled over her, his arm knocking her to the side. As she hit the ground and rolled to the side, she quickly rose with a hiss, eyes pointing out to see what was to happen.

Troy couldn't help but smile as she told him she had enough blood for the both of them, and then stepped closer in a stalking motion back to hm. He felt her hands wrap around his neck her fingernails brushing against the skin and then she pressed her lips roughly against his own. He tilted his head deepening the kiss his tongue entwining with her as his hands danced across her sides, gently kneading into the firm flesh leaving soft bruises in the soft skin that disappeared after only a second. His tongue explored her mouth and he could feel her sucking on it to gain control back over it which made him moan into the kiss. Then before he realized it she broke away flicked her hair which sent the raven locks cascading across his face as she spun on her heel and began walking towards the door. Troy found him self sighing out a breath he hadn't known he had been holding, and then he began to walk in quick steps as to catch up to her. Damn! It's almost like she didn't fell that at all! His thoughts were some what angry but the smile that played upon his lips told another story, and he soon took note of the slight sheen of sweat that had beaded his skin. His eyes had still not lost their glow when he seen the guards giving Elizabeth judgmental looks, and he couldn't help but give them a sarcastic roll of his eyes. They hadn't even made it half way down the hall when Troy took note of the ogre of a vampire who's name was Velor. Oh Dammit! Not him again. His thoughts took place as Elizabeth tried to talk reason, and he could tell that her words were having no effect on this guy. Troy went to stop her from moving towards him knowing the two of them could move past him if they cordinated their efforts but then she was already moving in at him.

Velor barreled right over her swinging his arm out to send her flying to slam against the wall Troy knew she wouldn't even feel it, but it still placed him against a more than slightly powerful vampire who had all of his abilities unlocked. "Okay so round two numskull!" Troys voice was as insulting as he could make it hoping to enrage this idiot further, and it worked by the red glow his green eyes had just taken as he ran at him like a juggernaut. Troy set his feet and made sure his balance was perfect which he found far easier as a vampire than it had been when he had slightly more human coordination. The big man was upon him and he tried to grab Troy by the neck to just tear his head off, but a quick duck had him under the big vampire and Velor's movement was still too fast for him to recover. Troy slammed his shoulder into the big guys gut, and then twisted his own body while pushing up with everything he had which sent Velor flying behind him to crash through a wall about fifteen feet behind Troy.

Troy brought the combat knife from his sheath upon his back and moved quickly towards the ogre, Velor having just figured out what happened when Troy made it their the silvered knife just inches from the vampire heart when he felt some one from behind grab him and toss him against a wall. Troy made an uncharacteristic grunt as his back was broken upon impact though it healed almost instantly. He still slumped to one knee to look up at who had done it, and the ring gave off a slight glow as a man with long hair, pale skin, and red eyes gave a glare in Troys direction. The man then turned his glare towards Velor and said in calm but demanding tones. "Blood shed between the clans is absolutely forbidden; any who violate the blood laws shall be set to flames under the sun; or even a worse fate if one is deemed necessary." His tone said he wasn't playing and the old man in Troys ring began giving him a history lesson on the master vampire standing in front of him. "Huh! A hero of the vampires eh!" Troys mental words to Lucius was given a quick response. "Troy you would do well not to challenge him; he's more powerful than you know. Dammit Troy! I told you that he is not one to messed with!" Lucius's words hit him about the time he was going to rise form one knee, and his subtle movements halted.

Troy stood up and stretched his back until it popped his eyes never leaving Drake's, the vampire that had so easily tossed him like a ragdoll. He gave a glance back to Elizabeth who seemed to be slightly worried as well before the man grabbed Velor by the hair and looked at Troy once more. "I will have my subordinate severely punished for this attempt on you life; but in the future you would do well not to kill other vampires." His voice was cold as he had moved a little to close to Troy as if to make himself clear. "Well I won't give any promises; if some one tried to kill me; I WILL kill them!" his tone was challenging and the intensity was clear in Troys eyes, while the mans eyes seem to calm at the words. "Very well young one; but know if you kill one of mine I will kill you, and if you kill one of the others masters children then I would guess you will suffer similar punishments from them. Remember this Troy: you don't have a master. A benefit if your wanting to move up the ladder, but a detriment if you find your self in need of protection." His words were swift and full of amusement as he turned and pulled Velor along as if he was a puppy that had broken the rules; the man looked once to Elizabeth and gave her a nod of both respect and an apology, before moving right past her.

Once the man was gone Troy spoke again. "What an ass!" His words were full of contempt before he turned around and slammed his fist into the wall behind him which made it crumble to the ground. It was at this point however that he noted that his hand was cut up from the impact of destroying the wall, and that it was not healing. He turned back to Elizabeth who seemed some what relived that Troy hadn't done anything to rash. "You said something about a bite to eat? Let's go I need to get out of here!" It was at this point that he began moving down the hall to her side, and he gave her a nod. "Lead the way, Lucius never lived in this hide out; I've got no clue about it's lay out." His voice had calmed down, but his eyes while no longer glowing held a certain fire to them as he looked in the direction that Drake had taken Velor. "Troy you would be wise not to challenge Drake; I know whats going through that head of yours." Lucius's warning rang out hollow in Troy's mind as he thought on the vampires strength. "Oh don't you worry old man; I haven't thought anything of the sort". The sarcastic thought gave Lucius pause, and it was at this point that Troy cut off the connection between them, and turned his attention back to Elizabeth.

Elizabeth could barely believe what she was seeing. It was just a matter of subtle moments before Troy had the guy slammed into a wall, and Velor twitching a bit from the harsh fall of the impact. She stood to her feet at that point, as she began to move forward to stop Troy when out of the corner of her eye a shadow appeared to zoom toward his back, and in a single fluid motion a tall man grabbed troy by the wrist, and chucked him like he was nothing. Elizabeth hissed at that point though, and stepped forward as he began to berate Troy for the act as if he were some insolent fool. "You know well he has a backer Drake; don't overstep your bounds." She said to the higher ranking master as she stepped in closer to her charge, a near territorial look in her eyes as she locked orbs with the master Drake, almost as if in a subtle challenge of his station over her.

Drake flashed his eyes back to her as she challenged him, and spat to the side whilst he dragged Velor by his ear. "You know well the laws, and while your master may not follow them they are still there; and I assure you, the council will see it my way." Drake retorted to her mentally as he stepped out of the hallway they were in with a last testing glance toward Troy. Elizabeth didn't appreciate the cynicism however, and made a final retort before the master vampire was out of range. "Remember master Drake that it was your subordinate that started this mess, and assaulted me in the doing. I know I'm nothing more than a pet to my master, however to the entire society I hold more worth in a single cheek of my well rounded rump than that ogre has in his whole being. You would do well to remember that." She thought to him in a scolding tone, though only received a mental grunt as an answer.

Elizabeth turned back to Troy at that moment however, and nodded at his rant he had made during Drake and her's mental conversation. "It's understandable for you to be angry Troy, but his station is leagues higher than yours at the moment. You need to be more careful!" She scolded him as well, before walking in closer to put her arm on his shoulder, and glance down at his still wounded hand. "Your low on blood already? It seems you burn through the nutrients faster than we do. Come on then, we need to get out and feed soon." She said to him with a half smile, before she turned around and began to walk toward the door way again, moving her hand along in a motion to follow as she did such. After all, Troy was always a trouble maker from what she could tell, and she knew now that she would have to keep an eye on him, else something go wrong with the other clans.

As they walked out the door however, Elizabeth turned her head back to him and tilted it to the side. "So, do you want to drive or would you prefer to go hunting on foot?" She asked him casually as if the act of hunting was something done in an everyday sort of the manner. Truly it wasn't, you typically only fed once every two nights unless you had the strength to indulge. Elizabeth was one such person who did, though she still didn't feed every night as it was slightly distasteful to the senses. "We can find some drunks at the local park in either case. They may taste like booze, but they pack high energy." She said to him flatly before turning on her heel and back out the door, heading now for the car. After all, they would at least have to get a ride out to the park before they set out on foot.

As Elizabeth neared the car she took out her keys and clicked the button that would unlock to doors, only now noticing the slight rebellious pull she had felt before had faded. It was then she wondered whether or not Troy had something to do with it. After all, she had seem some mental wave links while her conscious was mixed with his, but she didn't think it was that strong. Perhaps it wasn't in all honesty, maybe just more subtle and usable without his knowledge. General empathy, eh? Fabulous. She thought to herself with a shrug as she reached the car, and turned back to him with a playful glance. "So, you driving or am I?" She asked with some amount of nonchalance, her eyes now playing across his chest again as she thought once more of being wrapped in his strong arms.

Troy didn't appreciate the scolding she gave him, and rolled his eyes at her as if in challenge though in truth was glad she was now showing genuine concern instead of the Get the job done with out incident She had shown him before. He felt her hand on his shoulder as she spoke about his blood which almost made him wince. She doesn't seem surprised, or for that matter even that concerned about it. Dammit my it feels like my bloods boiling under the skin. Troy had a slight look of discomfort as the thought passed through his psyche, and he followed her out of the building. He noted the many stares they received and could guess that news of his defeating Velor had passed through the underground facility very quickly. Once out into the indoor parking lot Elizabeth looked back at him, and begun speaking to him.

He listened to her being drawn from his own personal thought as she proceeded towards her car. "I have a better idea of where to go for a little blood." His azure eyes held a great deal of mischief in them as he walked towards her as she held up the keys asking him who was driving. "By the way I'm driving; I'm simply horrible at giving directions." He gave a slight chuckle his hand having finally healed as he snatched the keys from her hands, and opened the car door stepping into it. Troy quickly placed the keys into the ignition, and turned the key. the engine gave a silent roar as he made sure her door was open. When she stepped in the passenger side door he smiled at her, and spoke the look of mischief still not having left his azure orbs. "Have you ever heard of a place called the war room? It's a club not to far from the downtown area which is where were at is it not?" His itinerary was a shorter distance, and drunks could be easily found there, but for Troy it was a place where he had a debt to settle.

Troy pressed his foot against the clutch, and moved the gear into reverse. He once again pressed a little too much pressure onto the gas, but this time it didn't show as he was a little more use to the handling of the vehicle. He clutched once again, and slid the gear into first before hitting the gas once more. It didn't take him long to get out of there but one couple who had been about to have some fun in the middle of the lot had to be very quick or he would have run them over. He sped along the downtown area getting his bearing for a couple of blocks not only to find his way to his current destination, but for future references. He soon however knew his way, and found the club he was looking for, and she might very well recognize it as the club he had been working at before he was bitten.

Elizabeth perked her brow at his words of knowing a better place to feed, and as he declared that he was driving she giggled a bit, and tossed him the keys. "There you go then, try to to crash, eh?" She said to him in a jest as she walked around to the passenger door, and opened it up, sliding fluidly within the seat next to him. She turned to him then about to ask where the two were going when Troy began to explain. She shook her head in an indication of no as he asked her if she new of the war room, and when he told her where it was she nodded a bit. "That's where you use to work at, isn't it?" She asked with an already knowing look in her eyes, though Troy didn't give her an answer, but rather just drove off like a bat out of hell.

They sped through the downtown area for many moments while in silence, Elizabeth looking at Troy dead in the eyes the entire time. He seemed different at the moment, almost distant in a light. She figured it had something to do with that club they were moving toward at some harsh speeds, and she guessed that he might have had some score to settle. Well we all have people we want to get back at. She thought to herself as the form of Velor popped in her mind, and she nodded thinking her previous words were even more true now. After all, even he had an agenda with Troy. Her thoughts ended soon after though as they pulled up before the war room, and Elizabeth perked a shapely eyebrow as she looked on the scene before them.

As Troy pulled up she noted that there were several people looking toward the expensive car with black tinted windows, and she looked to her partner with a slightly distressed expression. "Troy I don't mean to sound like a worry wart, but I don't think this is a good idea. I mean we just pulled up in front of the club, and while I sure love making a scene, feeding like this isn't the way to go about it." She said to him in hushed tones, figuring in all honesty that he had a better plan than that, but she couldn't be too sure as to what it was. Besides, she liked to stay on the lower side of things anyhow, and if people got suspicious of them then it wouldn't turn out well.

Troy pulled into the parking lot the head lights capturing the image of a multitude of bikers, and truckers who turned curious gazes at the expensive car. He then heard the hesitant warning from Elizabeth, though he merely turned the mischievous smile that had been playing upon his lips since they made it to the indoor parking lot. "Oh don't worry too much; their have been a number of rich swinger couple's come to this club to take a look at a wider variety of choices." His voice was soft and in truth he wasn't lying to her, but it would really be up to her to decide on his honesty. He pulled into a parking space that was well away from the building as to avoid any problems in the next little bit. As he set the parking brake he turned to Elizabeth, and spoke in a soft tones. "Now listen: I have something to take care of here, so I'm guessing you can find some one suitable to feed upon." His words were not at all cryptic and he didn't see a point in hiding that he wanted to talk to some one here. He then gave her that same smile, and stepped from the car.

The smell of cheap booze, and gasoline seemed to assault his sense like never before. Before he even realized it he was already walking towards the club to find a guy that never liked him standing at the door acting as the bouncer. "Troy what the hell are you doin here? the boss said not to let you in if you ever came back!" The mans voice was to say the least slightly uneducated, and ruff from some odd years of living a bikers life style. Troy gave the man a wiry grin before stating in plain tones. "Well seeing as how the boss is trying to keep me out; then I guess he knows more than he ever let off." His voice was fluid though he never once stopped moving toward the door, and the man drew out a gun as if it alone would stop Troy. Troy gave him a smile, and then made the last three steps in but a second. His hand came over the magnum to hold the hammer so that the older man couldn't fire it off. "Now just let me through; and you won't get hurt." His voice was dead serious, and his tone cold as ice as he kept his eyes from the azure glow that was trying to come off.

Troy could tell that a number of others had already pulled guns on him but he turned his gaze to Elizabeth with a look that all but said stay out of it. That old fart knew too much then, and he knows too much now. He'll either tell me; or I'll take it from his blood. The knowledge that you could drain some ones memories had come when he had drained the female cop barely a day back. The man kept trying to pull the trigger, and even tried to shake Troys hand from the hammer while a few of the other men tried to get a little closer most some what wary of Troy if not simply scared of him. Then something that surprised Troy was a woman named Claudia came to the man at the door to whisper in his ear, and he gave a characteristic grunt. Troy heard the words clearly and they were for the man to let him in. It was at that point that Troy knew she was vampire by the smell that came from her, and she gave him a soft smile while turning back into the club. The man just let go of the gun, and Troy sluing open the revolver to check the gun for ammo, and was disappointment to find only two bullets.

The man stepped away, and he walked in after giving Elizabeth one last look. He moved past the patrons that were either trying to get some female to sleep with them, or were busy gambling and drinking at tables. He made it to the back room knowing Elizabeth was more than capable of taking care of her self for a few moments while he tied up some unfinished business. As he got into his former employers office he noted the woman named Claudia that he now knew to be a vampire, and his former boss who smelled human. He walked up to the desk that Leo was sitting behind, and gave him an accusing look. "Hey listen Troy if I had told you everything on the spot; what would have it accomplished?" His voice sounding like the slime ball he was, and the way he squirmed under Troy's intense gaze told Troy he knew more than maybe even Elizabeth knew. "What do you know about me? When we first met you said I had a bright future if I didn't get mixed up in the wrong sort of crowd: what did you mean by that?" Troys voice was fierce as he spoke to the man his fangs showing clearly in the well lit room.

The man gave Troy a shrug as if he couldn't tell him, and that caused troys eyes to glow a bright azure. "You've already heard what happened to me; right? Well I came here hungry; and with a few tricks to get the info I want; so you might as well tell me if you value your life." His voice was a hiss as he was now trying to shake this guy who always seem to know everything but said nothing. Then the female vampire seemed to fade into shadows with a look that told Troy she wanted nothing to do with this, and Leo gave another shrug before saying in simple tones. "If you take the info from me even if it means my life then at least I don't have to face your father." He had a look of distress as if the worst troy could do was kill him, but that the person he was truly scared of was his father. My old man? No way he's a ceo; and a fat bastard to boot. Wait he means my real father! Troy walked out of the room, and back into the bar a half hour later licking blood from his lips, and looking for Elizabeth so they could get out of there, and he could ask her a few questions.

Elizabeth listened to his words of reassurance, but couldn't help but feel like he was leaving something out. Though she had to admit his excuse was a good one, but it still didn't hide the fact that most swingers didn't drink the blood of those they enticed. It was only when she attempted to voice these new concerns did he step from the car and begin to walk toward the bar. There that attitude goes again. She thought to herself in slight frustration as she too stepped from the car, and began to head on after him. "Troy..." she had started to say to him before the confrontation at the door started, and soon the man had pulled a gun on troy, leaving her thinking that it might be better not to voice her opinion.

Elizabeth sighed as Troy proceeded to make more than a bit of a fool out of the man, but the guns that were held at him from all sides truly made the situation look bad; even for one of their kind. She was just about to move forward and intervene when Troy shot her a sharp glare that told her to stay out any fight that may arise, and while she thought it to be a bad idea, her respect for Troy caused her feet to stay in place. It proved to not matter much however, as the confrontation was soon afterward ended by a woman who came from inside the bar to whisper something into the acting bouncers ear.

The interaction at the door was enough to make Elizabeth think something odd was going on, but when she caught a wiff of the wafting scent of the woman who beckoned Troy forward, she knew her suspicions were confirmed. Vampire. She thought to herself before moving forward, knowing now that this entire thing was a front. Well that's just great, an upstart group separate from the from the clans. I can already tell this isn't going to end well. she thought again as she moved forward toward the door.

A frown emerged on Elizabeth's features when she made it too the door however, for the bouncer put his hand in the way, and said in a lechers tone. "Hey little lady, the woman said Troy could go in; not you." His words were somewhat gruntish, and Elizabeth's lips curved downward into a frown as she looked him in the eye. "No she didn't, but as far as i know I've not been condemned from a place I've never been." Her words held some venom to them as the entire situation had begun to annoy her.The man didn't seem to catch the danger in her tone though, and proceeded on with his idiocy. "Either way little lady, you're with him, and to me that means your in the same category he is."

Elizabeth's frown increased in tempo, and she hissed as she seen the expression upon his face. "A piece of meat, eh?" She echoed the man's own thoughts into his mind, as she made a feral hiss and kicked her foot into a high roundhouse that caught the man square in the jaw, nearly taking his head right off. A loud thump was heard as the action took place, and before many could even register what happened the man lay unconscious on the ground before them with a mixture of blood and drool oozing from his mouth. Elizabeth then glared at the rest of the men who now held guns pointed toward her head. After a second though her features softened, and a wide smile came to her lips. "Surely there is a better way to handle this gentlemen." She said to them with lustful smile as she eyed each selectively....

****

The half hour that Troy spent in the man's office rolled by fairly quickly, and when Troy walked on out of the man's office to lick his lips happily, he came into the sight of Elizabeth sitting at a table surrounded by the group of hard bikers from outside, each now looking and speaking to her as if she was the only thing on their minds. "Now now boys, tsk tsk tsk. You really shouldn't say such things about a lady." She said to them all as she knocked back a double shot of brandy, and shook her head from the more than slight kick it held. "That'll wake you up in the evening." She said in a more common tone than she normally held, before slapping her own thigh with ample force.

The men surrounding her gasped at the way she drank, and all smiled with stupid looks in their eyes. She was about to pour back another when she seen Troy out of the corner of her eye, and she smiled at the group with a coy expression. "Well gentlemen it seems my rides here; I'm afraid we'll have to finish this later." She said to them with a pout, before standing fluidly from the chair to walk over to her hot headed partner. As she walked from the group they all stared at her with a rather longing look, but for some reason they didn't follow.

As Elizabeth neared close to Troy she smiled softly, and shook her head with a bit of distaste. "Find what you needed?" She asked with a bit of annoyance, as she straightened her eyes to look him straight in the face. She could smell the blood coming from his lips, and knew then and there that he had left a trail to follow. "Anyhow, come on. We need to get out of here before anyone catches on." She said again before turning to walk out, her eyes playing back to him once more; there coldness now holding a look of worry. After all, as much as she was annoyed with the man right now, she still couldn't help but feel like she couldn't stay mad at him for even a second.

Troy seen Elizabeth drinking with a group of bikers that he personally knew to be a gang that could clear out a bar within minutes. She slapped her thigh exclaiming to them before her eyes darted over to him, and she excused her self. The first thing she said was a question that held a slightly chiding tone, to which he didn't even validate with an answer. Though her softer words of leaving he nodded to, and began his trek out into the parking lot, heading to her car. "So did you enjoy Charlie, and his boys company; I don't think I've ever seen that side of you?" His words were more to take the heat off of his own actions inside the bar than his own curiosity, but they none the less seemed sincere.

Though after his words he pressed the button on the key chain that opened the car as the neared it, and then looked at her his eyes soft. "Do you wanna Drive or should i?" His words were calm as he now seemed to have more focus than he had just a few hours before, and his eyes held the cunning they usually did when he had been a human instead of the beast that was trapped look they had held recently. Troy perked an eye brow and dangled the keys wondering how much she suspected or what she thought about the incident in the bar. He tried to just shrug off the consideration for her emotions, but found it hard when he thought about how they had been chiseled away.

"Troy you have something that you must do, don't let this tart get in the way of your job." The words of Lucius didn't ring out as hollow as they once had, but he snapped back with more than a bit of anger and frustration anyway. "Shut up Lucius or your part won't get done: understood!" His words were held with a snap, but the ancient vampire wasn't done yet, and didn't understand how much Troy was sick of him insulting Elizabeth. "No Troy you listen she is getting in the way of your judgment, you need to...." Lucius words had been hasty and held the tone of a disapproving father, but they were cut off when troy took off the ring and tossed it to her. "Hold on to that will you?" His words were quick and calm as he stepped into the driver side seat despite what Elizabeth's answered had been to his question.
