Vampires Abound

Do you forget what bond I have with Raven? I know more than you do about that "bond". I've had it for many years more than you have even had the conception of bonding yourself with a human whose wife you killed. I have it with Raven, and William won't die because you do. I've killed other vampires that have had those bonds with humans. I know what tricks you'll try, and I can counter them. If he leaves you, that's his thing, if he stays with you, that's also his thing, but how can you build a relationship when you're covering up the fact that you killed his wife? Relationships are built on trust, love and truth. I'd think twice if I were you about not reavealing what you did, to him. If that bond of yours is strong enough, he'll forgive you. But also I have been his friend years longer than you've had him entranced.

I start to close the door, and say, "He's been the victim of another vampiress' 'bond' and he survives without her just fine." Closing the door before Ariana can try to attack me, and I yell through the door, "Don't forget, try to hurt me, and you'll have Raven's wrath to deal with."

William found a chair in the palor and sat down, he looked over to Dru who was still in the room with him. "So miss Dru, How are we this evening?" He waited for her answer..

William finished his conversation with Dru when Ariana walked in the room, he could tell she was mad, but at who he wondered?

Drusilla spoke to William only for a few moments then Ariana arrived. "Hello" she said softly then stood up. "I will leave you to alone." with that said she left the room.

Ariana

She strode into the room in a bit of a huff, hardley noticing Drusilla's departure as she curled up on the cushioned window seat, bringing her knees up to her chin she placed her forehead against the cool glass and gazed out into the blackness of the night.
She could smell William in the room, though neither one of them spoke.
What Sadie had said had definately struck a cord with her, she was wronging William with her affections. She was lying to him without saying a word....

I dried myself and put all my hair up in a ponytail. I then got dressed in a sweat suit and drank my tea that had been placed outside my door. I noticed when vampires were around, I felt a buzzing feeling throughout my body. It must be the smell of them getting to me. Oh well, not much I could do about it, Raven gave me these gifts and powers. I had no choice but to use them. "Hello William, how are you doing? Sure is weird how you've been able to stay here so long without Raven flipping out."

William just sat in the room watching Ariana sit next to the window, he knew something was wrong but could not figure it out just quite yet, he stopped thinking about it when he heard Sadie's voice in his head.

William smiled and asnwered back "Mmm, Evening Sadie, Yes it is wierd being here for so long with out Raven flipping out"

*sighs* "Yes, quite. I think he may still be sleeping. I heard him around while I was working today, which would explain his absence, and allowing you to be here. He doesn't protect himself very well. You might want to go talk to Ariana, she seems to have something on her mind that you might be able to help her with." I grin mischeivously and walk past Ariana, getting ready to set out and see if I can find anything useful.

Ariana

She raised her head enough to glare at Sadie.
"I'm sickof sitting around this tomb waiting for something to happen. I'm going out."
She rose abruptly, moving so quickly she was gone before they could even blink, though they could hear the door slam behind her.
The grass was cold and wet beneath her bare feet as she strode across the lawn and back towards the forest that surrounded the estate.
She didn't move as quickly now, instead letting her senses adjust to the cacophany of sound, sights and smells that surrounded her.
Trying to hone in on what she was searching for...

William

I watch as Ariana left the room, I looked over to Sadie "What the hell was that suppose to mean?" I asked, Sadie just smiled and walked away, deciding the Ariana was slightly more important then helping Sadie i rose out of my chair and followed Ariana out of the house.

I noticed that she had entered the forest, she was making to much noise as a vampire and that is what allowed me to find here, I stroled up behind her as she stood in the forest, waiting searching for something there.

"What is wrong Ariana?" I asked..

She turned slowly to face him, her brows furrowed in anguish, as she rushed over to him and took him in her arms, burying her face in his chest as she sobbed.
The pounding of his heartbeat rang in her ears as he held her.
"I've wronged you William," she took one of his blades, put it in his hand and pressed it to her own throat, "and for that I expect no mercy, no pity, just a swift end if you please. But know this, my love for you was never false..."

I wraped my arms around her as she buried her face into my chest, "What do you mean you have wronged me?" I watched as she pulled out one of my daggers and held it to her throat "and for that I expect no mercy, no pity, just a swift end if you please. But know this, my love for you was never false..." she asked me, I placed my own hand on the dagger and was ready too, but something stoped me, something deep inside me said do not kill her. "What are you talking about" I asked one last time....

Ariana

She bit her lip, knowing that once she told him there was no going back, no gurantee that he'd ever be so tender with her ever again...
"William...what exactly do you know about the circumstances surrounding your wife's death." She asked slowly.
The stolen blood in her veins flushing her cheeks slightly.
She clutched him to her, almost as if her life depended on it, afraid that if she let go she'd lose him forever...

William let her go and pushed her back "How dare you ask that question to me, How do you know what happened to Lucy,"

William screamed at her "HOW DO YOU KNOW ARIANA!!!!"

He waited for her answer and it would not be one he liked.....

Ariana

She swallowed, "I know because I was there when it happened."
She could see the pain and anguish in his eyes and it hurt her more than she could bear.
"You think HE killed her? He did...in a way...but he and I were travelling companions then and our kills were shared. She was quite a prize, a beautiful woman, truly delicious. Without the glamours and lures my mind can provide we wouldn't have even gotten in the door that night. But he struck first, I got a mere taste of her before he drained her dry. In a way she was lucky.
He fancied her, wanted to make her part of our little group. But I was the jealous type and I would have none of that. So in a way I saved you the pleasure, and the pain of having to kill your beloved...." Her voice trailed off, tears welled up in her eyes,"I'm so sorry William...without me he would never have got in the door...."

William drew back the dagger and slamed it into her chest, just right of her heart. the anger flowed though his body, She had lied to him, made him her puppet, but not anymore. William would no longer be anybody's puppet.

William watched her body fall to the ground, he turned his back and ran though the forest away from Raven's home, his forst stop was his own house. NOw it was Hunter's turn to be the hunted.......

Ariana

She gasped as she felt the full force of the blade slam into her chest, passing easily into her flesh like a hot knife through butter, just missing the heart.
She knew he wasn't that sloppy, if he'd meant to kill her he would have taken her head.
But she didn't remove the dagger. The blade was cold and as the stolen blood bubbled in her throat and spilled from the wound she truly wished she could die.
He had every right to hate her. But foolishly going after Hunter alone, and in anger was suicide.
So slowly she removed the blade, but before the wound could heal she sparked a match and held it to the wound cauterizing the flesh, knowing that a burn was one of the few wounds that could last if she didn't feed. It would be a constant reminder of her pain, for she would burn it back before it could heal until she found a way to make the scar permenant or he decided to finish what he started and take her life....

Ripping of a strip of fabric from the hem of the dress she fashioned a makeshift garter for the blade and took off after William, keeping her distance but tracking him all the same, she wouldn't allow him to die this way....

I sensed William's pain, I knew where he was going. "William! Don't kill yourself! Either come to me, or wait at your house for me. You KNOW you can't possibly do it alone. You need my help. Don't do it!" With that I left the confines of Raven's house, knowing full well that "Deavone" was out there, and Hunter. It was now or never, the way William was going. I ran to his house, catching him just as he was leaving. "For the Gods' sake wait for me!"

William stoped outside his house just as sadie ran up, "For the Gods' sake wait for me!" William frowned at Sadie "Why sould i wait Sadie, the bastard killed not only my son, but my wife as well" He pointed to Ariana behind him. "and that bitch was the one who let him in my house."

William just waited for Sadie to respond to him.....

Ariana

She stopped dead in her tracks, shaking. Willam gazed at her with a look that could make even her blood run cold.
"Look...I know what I did was wrong...but it was a long time ago...and I already said I'm sorry, William. I know that nothing I could ever say could make up for the loss of your wife and child...and that my life could never be enough...but there is one thing I can offer you...one thing I can give you to try and make this right..."
She held out her hand to him and in it was an ancient looking bit of parchment wrapped with a leather cord.
"I give you this and my word that I will do all thats in my power to help you slay Hunter and all those that would protect him."

"Because no one human is a match for him. I'm going to help you. Let's stop by my house and get my gear. We'll need it."

Drusilla watched as Sadie took off after William. She had thought to wait for Raven but he seemed preoccupied. She would leave him be and follow the mortals. Ariana was strong but they would need all the help they could get to defeat Hunter. With a sigh of submission to the inevitable Drusilla left the saftey of the house to meet up with Sadie. She reached them just as Sadie suggested they get her supplies. "I agree, we will need everything we can get our hands on."

"You're coming? I thought you would take offense to killing one of your kind. You too huh, Ariana? The more help we have, the more likely we are to defeat him. The only time you two can't help is during the day. In which case, he'll definitly die by morning. Either by us killing him *tosses a pack of stakes to Drusilla* or by me dragging his sleeping ass outside. *tosses a pack of stakes to Ariana* I have a few tricks up my sleeve. Shall we go to my place to get more supplies? You might want to stay here, William."

William smiled at what Sadie said to him "if your going after Hunter, so am i, so it looks like we're heading to your house Sadie."

William picked up his own bag of tricks and started to walk away, he stopped and looked back "Ya'll coming or am i killing Hunter myself?" William just stood there fo a second....

Trots to join William. "Let's head out."
