You know when Christmas is around the corner, because it gets HOT.
It must seem strange to folks who live in the northern hemisphere. 
It least where we live the heat is "dry"....no humidity; but it still got up to 40 deg C on our back verandah yesterday; it faces west so that's par for the course. Looks like the weather will be much the same for the next week or so.
You can get most things done in the morning, courtesy of daylight saving, but by 1 - 2pm it's generally indoors in the air cond. Went bike riding this morning, which is fine while your moving along, but when you get back home and stop, then you know it's summer.
