You know when Christmas is around the corner, because it gets HOT. It must seem strange to folks who live in the northern hemisphere.

It least where we live the heat is "dry"....no humidity; but it still got up to 40 deg C on our back verandah yesterday; it faces west so that's par for the course. Looks like the weather will be much the same for the next week or so.

You can get most things done in the morning, courtesy of daylight saving, but by 1 - 2pm it's generally indoors in the air cond. Went bike riding this morning, which is fine while your moving along, but when you get back home and stop, then you know it's summer.

The above was an actual shot from a game show, as I understand it, albeit not a very good one (the shot).

I have a vague memory of the pic from years ago....not sure, just something lurking in the depths of my memory.

As indicated, the answer was supposed to be: Luck Be In The Air Tonight............well that's probably not what most of the people in the audience were thinking!

A suggestion for you, Vanessa… Richard says it’s gonna be hot the whole week of Christmas, so why not stay nude for the week, and be sure Richard documents it for us . These ‘tree’ pics are fabulous, BTW. You never fail to astound me. There surely isn’t a prettier, sexier 60 year old woman on this planet.

Yesterday where I live it was minus 28c without the wind chill. It is to hot for me where you are, but I wouldn't mind a trade of say 10c each way. Vanessa is looking fantastic as usual
