In Iran it was about highly enriched nuclear material for nuclear weapons and missile production.

There was never a plan specific for regime change but could have been a bi-product which was and still is highly anticipated.

The foundation of the Venezuela government still exist. Maduro was indicted by the US for drug trafficking, was also under a warrant from Argentina for international crimes against humanity. IMHO
