An explanation

First, I wish to thank all those who have stopped by the past two months to welcome me back, post lovely comments, or simply to admire in silence. I have enjoyed sharing my photos once again with you all. You help make me feel young and appreciated.

Unfortunately, despite cropping out my face and tattoo, I have been recognized. Luckily, this was brought to my attention by a friend, but it made me realize my clothing, jewelry, even my smile, made me identifiable to those who know me.

I have mentioned before that my husband and I hold positions in our community which could be damaged should knowledge of my 'hobby' get out. Therefore, it is with relutance and sadness that I felt I had to pull my pictures. I'm sorry if this disappoints some of you, but my privacy is important.

I shall still be visiting Lit, admiring the posts of others, commenting and conversing with my friends, enjoying the comraderie of this extraordinary group of people, but I fear I cannot regularly post my own pictures any longer. Perhaps from time to time I shall still share on a limited basis, posting a picture for a short amount of time before removing it... perhaps not.

It is unfortunate that I live in a community that contains people with closed minds, those who see nudity and sexuality as things which are 'dirty', but so it goes....

I too am so sorry to hear this, but I completely understand. I won't go into my political commentary on closed-minded right-wing nuts or on the state of this once great country at this time. I'm sure most people know my views of such things anyhow.

I have to admit, Ronaldinho is rather... infectious. His smile and play that is. I have to be realistic here. The US more than likely won't advance (it'll be no small feat if they do), so I have to say that Brazil and Germany are my next two fav's to win it.

Hopefully, we'll play better against Italy. I honestly must say, and I've watched every game so far, that the US had the poorest performance of any team in the Cup to date. I would like to think we are much better than we showed yesterday. We may not get out of our group, but it would be nice to score some points, and to do that, we'll need to score goals. Let's see what the coach cooks up for Saturday. By the way, I'm not a big fan of Arena, and I thought his lineup was poorly chosen yesterday....
