Good morning, Vinde, who would never hurt a fly.
Morning cc. I don't know about flies but you should ask the spider i smashed in my sink this morning. :D
Hope you have a great day cc.

Good morning, Vinde. Should we continue arguing about whether without this day there would be a Canada Day? (I actually need to read up on Canadian history though).

Yes, but by that time the British were accustomed to losing colonies (sorry, BD, if you should happen to read this).

ah i see what you are saying. By that time they were tired of losing and figured it was better to cut their losses. Although technically we were still tied to them until 1982.

Yes, I think it was a shock for them to have lost. History always seems inevitable after it's over. People forget that the British still had a large professional army over here and they were up against really a rabble. So, they might not have wanted to face another land war in North America, especially since they would have to be wary of the U.S. getting involved.

Anyway, interesting speculation. Someday I'll have to read more to see if it holds up. (That's what you go to school for - to learn to make things up without any facts.)

Yes, so far it's been decent, but you seem to be sleeping though.

That explains your typing style. Howdy, just drooping by, all packing is done. Off tomorrow to see Yellowstone Park and beyond. Good thing the price of gas is going down.......

Good morning, Vinde. How's the weather up there today? Hope to catch you this evening.

good morning ((((((((((((Vinde))))))))))))))) :rose:

The cooler weather is a nice change, eh? :D

Good morning, Vinde. :rose:

*start singing*

Night-time sharpens,
heightens each sensation . . .
Darkness stirs and
wakes imagination . . .
Silently the senses
abandon their defences . . .
Slowly, gently
night unfurls its splendour . . .
Grasp it, sense it -
tremulous and tender . . .
Turn your face away
from the garish light of day,
turn your thoughts away
from cold, unfeeling light -
and listen to
the music of the night . . .
