Sighing, Amelia turned from the omelets she was making and had to stop herself from gaping. He looked so amazing, wet hair with towel around his neck . . . it was all she could do to stop herself from throwing herself around him. "Well, Alex, this is ready, but we can talk while we eat, right?"
She plated the eggs and carried them past him to the table, setting them down at places next to each other. "Come eat, big brother. And we'll talk about what to do." Picking up her fork, she cut a piece off her omelet. "I'd kind of like to go first, if that's okay."
Her fork picked up the piece of egg, and held it there for a moment while she thought. "Alex, I know . . . I know that you feel like you're responsible for what happened last night. You're not." She chewed the bite, then set her fork down, hands twining together over her plate. "Something came over me, sure, but I . . . I wanted you Alex. I wanted you badly. I loved feeling you touch me, and kiss me, and . . . well, I loved it." Her face was red and hot, with a mix of embarassment and hunger, and Amelia shifted slightly to hide the growing bulge in her lap.
"You didn't force me to do anything I didn't want to, and I'm sorry if I've done anything that made you feel that way." A deep, shaky breath, and she put one hand on his wrist. "I wanted you last night, Alex, and I want you badly now. I love you, as my brother and as a lover. But I know that it won't be easy for us, if we want to be together." A small, wry smile played around her lips. "It's just one more secret for us to keep - people would think the same things about us if they found out about my . . . little extra."
Amelia took her hand back and sighed. "But the choice is yours too. If you don't want to, or think it would be too hard to deal with the consequences, I'll understand. But I love you, Alex, and I don't want you to think that you did anything that hurt me."
