Fan me, darlings. Our grand winner is Yui with six correct. (All guessers had one point added to their total for their own works, which of course they could not guess publically.) Our big loser - sorry dear one! - is Carson, who did not manage to guess a single entry correctly. I'd be offended - he didn't even recognize mine! - but that means that Yui takes possession of him as a harem inhabitant, and really that's more than enough reward for me. Impressive and English Lady get to join in, the lucky sods, as the joint second-lowest totals.

The most frequently guessed authors were Angelicminx and English Lady, with four correct identifications each (by persons other than the authors). The least correctly guessed was the Earl - no one identified him as the author of his piece. I'm just chuffed that this time, mine wasn't so blindingly obvious.

That was really difficult! I was analyzing character names and phraseology and setting…and everyone else's answers. The Earl's completely threw me. There wasn't a single Brit-ism in the entire piece that I noted. Excellent and very disturbing piece by the way. I thought it was Carson until Carson's posted.

You're welcome. It's very deserved. You did an excellent job. Very neat, very tight, and with a very palpable sense of someone quietly coming undone. I don't know about becoming less obvious, but to me, this particular peice didn't "feel" like you usually do in my head. Plus, the lack of Brit spellings/slang/expressions made it difficult for me to place.
