Hi GG - well I think they scared the hell out of us all - so no one is going into the city. Not that you can really get there. But it is probably the safest place in the country right now. Talk about seeing or rather not seeing all the security. We've got aircraft flying at all times - some rather ominous looking people and that isn't just the dems LOL

Have to run off to save my brother from another "locked the keys in the car" episode! I love this brother to pieces - this is probably the 4th time this year I've gone to his rescue. I'm getting keys made for him TODAY!

Perhaps you could get him a necklace with his car key attached....like a rescue monitor for the elderly.

I'm glad to hear your safe and quite secure.....despite the ominous looking people roaming about. Although I'm sure you must have confused those G-men with the Dems......from what I saw last night, Jimmy Carter still had a definite twinkle in his eye, and WJC was looking quite dapper.

I think I have the perfect room for you on the first floor (2nd floor to those of you in the USA) overlooking the gardens and facing south so it has the sun for most of the day.

If its not suitable I will be more than pleased to find something else, but I suggest that you try it out fora day or two.

I'll get Jones the butler to put some fresh flowers in there for you.

LOL GG that would be a great idea - key on a rope! I just talked with him a moment ago and NO he hadn't had keys made today. He is absolutely one of the nicest people I've ever met - I'm so lucky to have him as a brother.

I've been watching more of the convention than I planned. I thought Obama did a great job last night - I had heard very good things about him and was glad to catch the speech. Interesting man.
