"Shit!" Kai and Kenji muttered in unison, Kenji moved out of the way as Kai rushed in between the girls, grabbing their hands and leading them to safety. The lightning fox grabed a barstool and hurled it at the hunters shot-gun and hitting it with such an impact. Kenji Rushed in while the hunter was off gaurd and punched straight in his jaw, knocking him down. "Son of a bitch."

Dan

Dan gavea grunt of paina nd went down.Hard.

"owww....."
He muttered,flatlined before his hand went to his trenchcoat,grabbign a pistol and firing up at the oe above him,then sitting up and starting to fire again as he stood slwoly.

Kenji intellegently darted behind Dan and wraped his arm around the hunter's throat. "You're gonna get a charge out of this!!!" Kenji growled as he forced his body to magneticly charge himself, and transfered the energy to Dan, heavily shocking him with around 500 volts of inhuman electricity.

Kenji shocked him to near death, then released him, pretty much knocking him hopefully unconsious. The tired kitsune began to walk away, but insted fell to his knees, not knowing that Dan had pieces of rubber in his jacket to asorb the an regular Raijin's electric assaults.

Dan

Dan slumped on to his back slowly,sprawling,smoke curling off of his clothed form as the kitsune that had shocked him slumps down a moment later.

He sat up slwoly,the pistols scattered...somewhere among the party's scattered debris.

"ugh...what hit me...dam bastards"he grumbled and tottered to his eet,eyes locking on the demon on his knees.


huh...good for me...
He thought to himself as he drew a long bladed dagger from his trenchcoat,stepping up towards the demon and resting a hand on his shoulder,steadying himself as he raised the dagger,prepared to stab.

Kenji heard him comming, but he waqs too drained to make a move. 'Oh man I'm in serious trouble here!'

"Kenji!"

Kai stood up and stared directly into Dan's eye, his eyes connecting dead on with him. Who knows how or why, but Kai somehow pirced into the hunters eyes, causing an choatic illusion to occur within his hear and mind.

Elain "Lady Stratus" Raijun

Elain stood up from her chair and stretched. One of her servents took noticed and approached her. "My Ladie, it is onlyt 9:00, you aren't going to bed now are you?"

"Mmmm... No, I'm headed to the councile."

"May I ask for what reason?"

"They have been chasing my brother alot lately, so I'm just going to see why."

"Are you that orried about him? Why can't you just tell them to cease their chasing?"

Elain sighed. "Miso," she started. She placed her hand on top of the boys' head "such questions are hard to explain to some one so young such as you. Now, go on to bed."

"Yes ma'am."

Dan/Rapier

Dan stopped suddenly,eyes widening as his pupils dilated,going slack as the dagger dropped with a dull thud against the ground,his body slumping back,occasionally twitching.

His mind flew back to the past,filled with images of his friend Dagger,a short,stocky man with jet black hair and a quick tongue,who had taught him so much..so dam much.His mind seemed to fastforward,watching through the mists of a dark alley nightmarishly reproportioned,his friend squaring off aginst and ambush of those demons,His long bladed dagger flashing in the moonlight,cutting down so many of those demons,but it wasn't enough.He yelled and cut down one or two himself,but he couldn't reach Dagger in time.A lifetime later he dropped,bleeding all over as those bastards laugh,knocking him out in order to increase their reputation,thinking the weakling foriegnor would run adn tell anyone he saw of "demons".

Kai's eyes became heavy, whatever he did made him tired, he dropped to one knee and gave a short sigh. "Wh- what the hell?"

Kenji took advantage of Dan's day-dream to stand up, and kicked him in the head, hard enough to knock him unconsious. "That was way too wierd." 'What made him freak out though? Its almost as if he was tricked into a Kage's evil eye.'

Gunther stood over the unconcious Kage's. They were of course no match for him, and most of them met their end with quick and decisive agility. He droped his now blood staind gloves over the pile and walked away. "In your next life, find somebody who can't fight."
