Smart people are sometimes wrong. People that go through life and NEVER change their mind about anything end up believing the same things when they are 40 that they believed when they were four. Thus the saying: "There is no fool like an old fool."

I have been wrong about many things and am glad to adjust my view as I take in more information. For example, at one time I believed that Al Gores book on global warming was correct. I started fact checking and a few years later I realized the whole thing was a well crafted hoax.

Trust me on this: As you get older you will look back on lots of stuff you are certain about now and realize you were wrong. That will happen to me too. It doesn't mean you are stupid. It means you are growing.

Be honest: Do you really think that by comparison to you my skull is an empty sea shell?

He assumed it was a fact. But what about it? You are totally missing the point. People may think that something is a fact or a theory. They may be right or wrong. It happens to everyone. The point I was making is that either way it has nothing to do with intellect and to use such things as a basis for calling people names is not very productive.
