I've just booked my first BCS wax.

I'm concerned I may get aroused by someone else playing with my bits. I'm not expecting any "extras" but are the therapists usually ok with this. Do they just ignore it and carry on.

And should I take my socks off. I guess my jeans, underwear and shirt are going to have to come off but I never feel comfortable just having socks on but I don't want to look like I'm expecting anything sexual.

(It will be my first time. I hope they're gentle with me.)

i always leave my socks on.

honestly, my waxer (i don't remember the actual term) told me that none of the men she'd ever waxed had gotten aroused by it. I suspect you'll be nervous enough and that it'll hurt enough that you won't get too turned on.

If you're actually concerned that it's a possibility though, why not jerk off right beforehand? Be sure to clean up before you go, though!

The lady who does me (and I'm having one today) is really cool, and I think since she gets to see a lot of people in vulnerable situations she's developed the kind of personality that makes you feel not QUITE as awkward about it.

Good luck, don't stress, and if you get turned on just don't draw any attention to it.

I would say that she'll/he'll have seen it enough times for the situation not to get too awkward but like Chicklet suggests the nervousness and/or pain is likely to counter any arousing thoughts...

I would suggest when thinking about the socks issue is where exactly you're being waxed and how hairy you are. If you're having you legs waxed and have hairy feet then take them off so that the therapist can wax them too and you won't have a prominent line but if it's a 'back, sack and crack' jobby then there's really no need.

EDIT: I've just noticed you wrote 'BCS' - does that mean 'back, sack and crack'? - Keep them on...

With the references to nervs and pain I am starting to get nervous. ;)

And, yes, BCS is Back Crack 'n' Sack.

Being waxed your first time is painful, though just like riding a bike or math, it gets easier each time you do it. ;)

I won't tell you how much, I do have a bit of advice, don't tense up, doing so makes it worse. Actually it is rather similar to getting shots, don't watch because seeing it happen makes it worse. I do have some good news, it only hurts for a second. ;)

Like Emap says it hurts for a second and that's it. It doesn't even hurt hurt it's just a sort of surface sting. It gets easier.

Good luck :D

Take some ibuprophen or Tylenol about 30 min prior...

When I go I just take off the pants... sadist moves the undies around to get to the bits she is working on and then moves onto the next area.

Unless you are a painslut and are aroused by pain being inflicted on you, I doubt you will get an erection. Think of it like a drs visit... clinical...
