I like both those plants. I call them flowers.

I've cut them down once with the big string trimmer. I'll leave them now because they do look nice, like a sea of white, with a few other colors from some poppies, campanula, and one stray clematis.

It sounds divine! I like my gardens a little wild and abundant. Planted hardwood saplings this year, next year wildflowers.

This area is actually a mess as far as the ground is concerned. It really needs a little tractor work. But, it looks nice right now, and when it's covered with snow. In the fall, it looks pretty poor.

Growing inside is easier than outside but also more expensive. The start up cost is mostly one time tho. I use a closet in the basement cuz out of the way and easy to vent. Few grand to start but pays for itself over time.

i once grew two good sized plants (out of four with the remainder being males i culled) in a closet using nothing but dangling cfl bulbs and a bottle of water mixed with sugar and yeast (yeah, that makes alcohol) to generate co2. it honestly worked great though i did have to stunt them a bit and it was a real pain to adjust the bulbs so that they were close enough to give the plants good light, but not touching the plants because they were just hot enough to singe them. also, i had to switch bulbs when i wanted them to bud. still, two good plants and the equipment cost me maybe a hundred bucks ( i saved some money by cannibalizing a few old lamps).

yeah, i'm pretty awesome.
