Anyways, a question about weres. It seems that Katagarians are animal form during the day, human by night. I take it the opposite is true for Arcadians, unless they were to exert energy to not change at night? Do they have to continuously exert energy through the night in order to not change or is it just a one-time deposit sorta deal?

Nope Arcadians got all the goodies without having to be forced to shift between forms. The only time they would burn energy would be to change during the day as human is the base form, and for Katgarian animal. Nighttime is the great equalizer so to speak.

the arcadians don't have to assume their animal form at night, it's just easier for them to change at night-time that during the day, thje same as its easier for kattagari to be human at nmight vthan during the day-time. i think that's because their ancestors were apollites spliced with animal traits. apollites being creatures of the night, they gave Arcadians and Kattagaris the ability to perform more magic at night time than during the day. that's why both species transform easier at night time, and why they also time-trravel under the light of the full moon.

Oh, so there is no real benefit for Jeff to change to his wolf form then, right? I was under the impression that by changing, he would converse energy and possibly heal faster.

Not for him no because he's an arcadian. If he were Katagarian he'd benefit from it but as it stands he'd be wasting energy. When you're injured you revert to your base form. Say if kimi got shot, she could probably hold the change off long enough to get out of public but she'd eventually shift back to her adorable kitty self

Arcadians might be physically strong in their animal forms, but they can't wield their magic very well unless in their natural form. And in any case, if he were to revert to his animal form, he would change right back to his base form when he falls asleep.

Angel, would the Red Room have communal or private showers? Basically, Andrei needs to decide on where to take Del, either drop her off with Kimi so Del can use Kimi's shower, or drop her off at the other shower and then go fetch Kimi.

There is a group bath. Kimi just happens to have her own private bath. kitty like her privacy.

Andrei can...ummm...take Delaney anywhere he likes as long as he does it after bathing and feeding her

Oh, Andrei is a gentleman, just like all the men of the Kattalakis family. He's not about to bathe Del. No, he's going to drop her off with Kimi while he gets some food ready and have it waiting when she gets done.

*laughs* and you really think Kimi is going to bathe her? lol more like drown here. hehehe All Andrei has to do is not look down hehe. Ah well Kimi can just take it out of his hide for interrupting her bath

He doesn't have to interrupt. Delaney could have easily been out for more than an hour, plenty of time for Kimi to soak. Besides, Andrei has a feeling that once Del is cleaned up some, she may get rather frisky and he ain't interested at he moment, but he might be interested once he's gotten use to Del.

Like I said, he's a gentleman.

Just have the big lug fill up the bathtub and dump her in it, so she doesn't have to stand up for long, then come back after an hour or so with a nice big juicy steak. that'll make her purrrrrrrrrr.....

And Delaney wouldn't get frisky that easily. she enjoys a rub and a scratch behind her ears when in kitty-form, but she'd probably chew her own arm off rather than risk being mated by the Fates
