What are you all planning to do for Easter?

I'm gonna eat a whole package of those pink marshmallow bunnies.

Here you can have mine as well.

Gack! My dad eats those things like they are a necessity of life. To make matters worse, they now are available for every holiday.

Ahem, back to the question. Apparently losing my mind. First day off in weeks and I actually contacted the mall management office to see if it were possible to bring in a crew Sunday morning. You know, to get caught up a bit.

Basically not a blasted thing.... sleep in then enjoy the lovely day.

Wolfy and I will be spending easter evening playing hide the rabbit

:p

I watch movies regradless of what day it is Siren. Why else do you think I have this outrageous accent?!

Outrageous outfit?

:p

Ah, what dreadful times are these when passing roughens can say Ni to old women...

Well, invariably my highly devout Catholic parents will call and wake me up to ask if I went to church, at which point I'll lie and tell them that indeed I did (I'm moving back in after graduation and can't afford a showdown over religion). Then I'll sit naked in my room watching tv and going over Lit. Finally I'll shower, head to McDonalds, and then talk to my best friend when she returns to campus.

I personally only look at holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas as family holidays. So, despite my Christian beliefs, I will be working on Easter Sunday just as I would any other day.
If the Easter bunny needs me, he knows where to find me.

Well, my Easter Sunday will start early. I may have posted this before but I lead the music and choir in a small church so I have to be there for the Sunrise service @ 7AM and then the Main Service @ 11AM. Then, its a big family dinner at my mom and dads. I'm 42 years old and there will still be an Easter basket there for me, filled mostly with homemade choclate. Then, I'm going to have to see if my lawn mower will start. Early spring has my lawn needing mowing already.

Church to start (I LOVE Easter hymns even more than Christmas hymns!)- then the rest of the day with family.

Favorite Hymn- I'm humming it already! But it is really best sung accompanied by the sound of a great pipe organ.

"I Know that My Redeemer Lives"

I know that my Redeemer lives;
What comfort this sweet sentence gives!
He lives, He lives, who once was dead;
He lives, my ever living Head.

He lives triumphant from the grave,
He lives eternally to save,
He lives all glorious in the sky,
He lives exalted there on high.

He lives to grant me rich supply,
He lives to guide me with His eye,
He lives to comfort me when faint,
He lives to hear my soul’s complaint.

He lives to silence all my fears,
He lives to wipe away my tears
He lives to calm my troubled heart,
He lives all blessings to impart.

He lives to bless me with His love,
He lives to plead for me above.
He lives my hungry soul to feed,
He lives to help in time of need.

He lives, my kind, wise, heavenly Friend,
He lives and loves me to the end;
He lives, and while He lives, I’ll sing;
He lives, my Prophet, Priest, and King.

He lives and grants me daily breath;
He lives, and I shall conquer death:
He lives my mansion to prepare;
He lives to bring me safely there.

He lives, all glory to His Name!
He lives, my Jesus, still the same.
Oh, the sweet joy this sentence gives,
I know that my Redeemer lives!
