What are you fuckers reading now?

Loved The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue but I have to say Henry was a needy little sap and I much preferred the devil.

I'm re-reading "Written in My Own Heart's Blood", trying to finish it up so I can start "Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone" when I'm at the beach in a few weeks.

En cuisine, toutes les vérités sont bonnes à dire! : 60 idées reçues pulvérisées pour mieux cuisiner / Arthur Le Caisne

Science versus tradition in French cooking

A good friend underwent an exercise in stream of consciousness writing. Daily, he took pen to paper literally, and by candlelight, he claims... to capture on the page what came from his mind. First pass only. No edits.
Now this friend is a decent writer. His easy prose sneaks up on your feels before you know it.
He's produced a collection of small vignettes about lust and affection, loss... sad tales of souls who cross in the night... the cosmos and time travel... each portraying the joys and perils of being an adult with an exposed heart. He's given me two volumes, they are a fantastic read.
