What are you fuckers reading now?

Never where by Neil Gaiman
I have yet to find a book of his I don't love.
That's my favorite Neil Gaiman book.
I loved the ending, was just perfect, I wanted more!
The BBC programme from it a few year ago now, is worth a watch.
Personally I can't see past Sandman as his finest work, Good Omens is superb and Stardust is lovely, absolutely my favourite author, I read his children's books to my daughter, her favourite is Fortunately, the Milk 😆

I've heard good words about Sandman, so it is def on my list to get to soon!
I'm close to finishing Neverwhere and next in my pile of books is one called "Boys and Oil"
by Taylor Brorby, about growing up gay in middle america.

Sandman is magnificent, I used to buy it in single issue form as it was coming out, gods im getting old.
There's very little like it out there, in any format, comic/prose/novels. It has so much scope, so much emotion, grand scale, the underlying story taking years to unfold and the array of characters paraded past you. Introduced ideas of sexuality and identity back in the 80's that blew these teenagers mind and had him question so many things in media and society ever since. Characters that didn't appear to have a fixed gender and just were what they wanted to be.
Gods I could go on..
You absolutely should take a weekend to yourself, pick up the omnibus story editions and just dive in, I guarantee you will not be disappointed and also guarantee you will return to them time and time again and still find/take new things from them. ❤️

Oh yes! I loved the ending for Neverwhere!

So up next for me, until I get my copy of Sandman, will be The Handmaid's Tale, by Margaret Atwood.

I moved back onto my rock autobiographies, I've like a dozen and no read half of them, went through a spell of buying them.
Today's is What does this button do? By Bruce Dickinson

In the whirlwind of a busy life, I've found solace in the realm of short stories before bedtime. Recently, my literary pursuits have taken an enticing turn, leading me to the best, most tasteful erotic fiction written by Stellan Emrys Wild. Despite my limited reading time, these short stories have become a delightful indulgence, infusing my evenings with a touch of sensuality and inspiration.

Action Park.

Autobiography of the parks founders son. “Fast times, wild rides, and untold stories of America’s most dangerous amusement park.”

It was in North Jersey and coming home covered in bruises and lacerations was a badge of honor!

Fun book- takes me back to the good ol daze.

In keeping with the theme, I finished Fantasticland a few weeks ago, and I’m starting to feel less uneasy. Wow.

I just finished The Last One by Will Dean. I can't decide if I loved it or hated it, but I do know I wanted to throw it across the room a couple of times.
