Oh no! I loved that thread, for so many reasons. So many fascinating discussions amidst the beauty of your expressions. I went back and read our conversations on ghosts (and hands) many times. The ambience in that thread was exquisit, just like its hostess.

This I understand entirely. When my thread was gutted (on purpose, not as an error -- I fell afoul of Lit's algorithm (and maybe some malicious reporting)), it was rough. I lost a lot. And I loved the feel of the interface, of the interactions, of all of it. Don't get me wrong, I like my new thread in The Other Place -- being able to post images again is lovely, and easy there -- but as you said, it isn't the same.

Or maybe it is just me that has changed...

I think we've all changed, evolved, or grown in some way.

but you're also right... in that it isn't the same and it'll never be exactly the same as it was before.
